Volgens een recente enqu\u00eate van de Customs Support Group (CSG) onder 200 Europese productiebedrijven maakt 20% van de bedrijven al gebruik van KI-ondersteunde systemen om de complexe eisen van douaneafhandeling aan te pakken. Ondanks deze vooruitgang is er een duidelijke discrepantie tussen het gebruik en het vertrouwen in deze technologie\u00ebn. Veel bedrijven zijn van mening dat KI nuttig kan zijn, maar niet voldoende betrouwbaar is om de verantwoordelijkheid voor kritische douaneprocessen op zich te nemen.<\/p>\n<h3>Uitdagingen door KI-fouten<\/h3>\n<p>Bee Newboult, Head of Regional Marketing &amp; Expansion van de Customs Support Group, wijst erop dat een centraal probleem bij de toepassing van KI in de douanesector de zogenaamde &#8222;hallucinaties&#8220; zijn, en legt uit: &#8222;Dit zijn plausibele, maar onjuiste uitkomsten die door KI-modellen worden gegenereerd.&#8220; Een voorbeeld hiervan is een vraag van professionals van de International Meat Trade Association (IMTA), die een KI-model vroegen of het legaal was om kippenvoeten uit het Verenigd Koninkrijk naar China te exporteren. Het model antwoordde ten onrechte met &#8222;ja&#8220;. Dergelijke fouten kunnen leiden tot vertragingen en boetes aan de grens, wat de noodzaak van menselijke supervisie onderstreept.<\/p>\n<p>Newboult: &#8222;De oorzaken van deze hallucinaties zijn divers. Enerzijds kunnen de gegevens die worden gebruikt om de modellen te trainen tegenstrijdigheden of onvolledige informatie bevatten. Anderzijds zijn grote taalmodellen ontworpen om waarschijnlijkheden te voorspellen, in plaats van exacte antwoorden te geven. Wanneer de trainingsgegevens niet eenduidig zijn, vult het model de gaten met plausibel klinkende, maar onjuiste informatie.&#8220;<\/p>\n<h3>De rol van menselijke expertise<\/h3>\n<p>De enqu\u00eate van de CSG toont aan dat bedrijven in Europa een voorzichtige benadering hanteren bij de implementatie van KI in de douane-compliance. De cijfers wijzen erop dat veel bedrijven eerst experimenteren, in plaats van onmiddellijk op KI in te zetten. De nauwkeurigheid van de classificatie en de verantwoordelijkheid voor regelgevende vereisten hebben voor veel bedrijven prioriteit boven automatisering.<\/p>\n<p>&#8222;Ondanks de groeiende interesse in KI-ondersteunde douanewerkzeugen is het belangrijk dat bedrijven deze technologie\u00ebn verantwoordelijk inzetten,&#8220; benadrukt Newboult. Duidelijke formuleringen en zorgvuldige controles van de resultaten zijn cruciaal om de voordelen van KI te benutten en tegelijkertijd de risico&#8217;s te minimaliseren. Terwijl KI-tools in staat zijn om veel handmatige stappen in het douaneafhandelingsproces te automatiseren, blijft menselijke expertise onmisbaar. Het succes van de douanestrategie hangt nog steeds af van de combinatie van KI-technologie en menselijke kennis.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.customssupport.com\/\"
