Deze investering omvat drie schip-naar-land kranen (STS) en zes rubber-tire gantry kranen (RTG), geleverd door Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Co. Ltd (ZPMC). De kranen maken deel uit van de infrastructuurontwikkelingen die nodig zijn voor de opening van een nieuw commercieel zeeportaal aan de Rode Zee in het zuiden van Egypte, aldus het bedrijf.<\/p>\n<h3>Strategische betekenis van de terminal<\/h3>\n<p>De Noatum Ports &#8211; Safaga Terminal zal volgens het bedrijf fungeren als de eerste internationaal ge\u00ebxploiteerde haventerminal in de regio Opper-Egypte. Het bevindt zich aan de Egyptische kust van de Rode Zee en moet dienen als toegangspoort voor de handel tussen Egypte, het Midden-Oosten, Afrika en wereldwijde scheepvaartroutes.
