Dit project heeft als doel de veiligheid te verhogen, files te verminderen en technologie in het goederenvervoer langs de Interstate 40 te bevorderen.<\/p>\n<h3>Evaluatie van technologie\u00ebn voor het goederenvervoer<\/h3>\n<p>Het meerjarige pilotproject zal de technologie\u00ebn voor verbonden en autonome voertuigen (CAV) onder re\u00eble bedrijfsomstandigheden testen. TDOT hoopt met de verzamelde gegevens en inzichten langdurige strategie\u00ebn voor de modernisering van het goederenvervoer in Tennessee te kunnen ontwikkelen. Het is de eerste specifieke initiatief van TDOT op het gebied van slim goederenvervoer, dat het ministerie in staat stelt om in samenwerking met Cavnue nieuwe technologie\u00ebn uit te proberen, terwijl de staat de controle over de wegen, de gegevens en toekomstige beslissingen behoudt.<\/p>\n<p>In de komende maanden zal Cavnue beginnen met de planning en het ontwerp van het project, dat onder toezicht van TDOT zal plaatsvinden. Na goedkeuring door TDOT zal het project overgaan naar de fase van tijdelijke tests op de weg, gevolgd door een eindbeoordeling die toekomstige beslissingen op het gebied van goederenvervoer en infrastructuur moet informeren.<\/p>\n<p>In het kader van deze initiatief zal Cavnue de volgende taken uitvoeren:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Uitvoeren van een gedetailleerde analyse van de corridor en de infrastructuur<br \/>\n&#8211; Ontwikkeling van het bedrijfsconcept en ontwerp van de pilot<br \/>\n&#8211; Installatie van tijdelijke technologie\u00ebn aan wegen en voertuigen<br \/>\n&#8211; Verzameling en analyse van realtime gegevens over goederenvervoer en verkeer<br \/>\n&#8211; Beoordeling van de systeemprestaties, de veiligheidsimpact en de operationele voordelen<br \/>\n&#8211; Betrekken van belanghebbenden<\/p>\n<p>De corridor van de Interstate 40 behoort tot de drukste en economisch meest significante goederenvervoerwegen in Tennessee. Gezien de snelle industri\u00eble groei in West-Tennessee, inclusief aanzienlijke investeringen in en rond Blue Oval City, wordt een toename van het goederenvervoer in de komende jaren verwacht. een jaar prestatiebeoordeling.<\/p>\n<p>De verantwoordelijken benadrukten dat de invoering van nieuwe technologie\u00ebn cruciaal is om de goederenvervoer corridors in Tennessee te versterken en de
