Deze nieuwe faciliteit is bedoeld om de toeleveringsketenmogelijkheden van het bedrijf te versterken en de levering en onderhoud van netwerkinfrastructuren in Europa te ondersteunen.<\/p>\n<p>Het logistiek centrum zal fungeren als een centraal distributiepunt voor belangrijke telecommunicatieapparatuur, waaronder mobiele, glasvezel- en vaste netwerken. De locatie in het logistiek park van Bettembourg stelt Vodafone in staat om vanuit Luxemburg alle Europese markten binnen 24 uur te bereiken. Dit moet de tijdige beschikbaarheid van apparatuur voor netwerkuitbreiding en -vergroting waarborgen.<\/p>\n<p>De openingsceremonie werd bijgewoond door hooggeplaatste vertegenwoordigers, waaronder H.R.H. de Groothertog van Luxemburg, Lex Delles, minister van Economie, KMO&#8217;s, Energie en Toerisme, evenals Jean-Marie Jans, burgemeester van Bettembourg, en Ninian Wilson, CEO van Vodafone Procure &amp; Connect. Lex Delles benadrukte het belang van Luxemburg binnen de Europese waardeketen en onderstreepte dat de beslissing van Vodafone om het logistiek centrum in het land te vestigen, de robuustheid van het Luxemburgse logistieke ecosysteem benadrukt.<\/p>\n<p>Ninian Wilson verklaarde dat de opening van het logistiek centrum een belangrijke stap is in de verdere ontwikkeling van de toeleveringsketenoperaties van Vodafone.
