Deze gondel is in minder dan twaalf maanden ontworpen en vervaardigd. Het resultaat toont de expertise van Daher en de succesvolle samenwerking met de teams van Flying Whales, een Franse ontwikkelaar en fabrikant van luchtvaartuigen voor gebruik in de luchtvrachtlogistiek met goederen tot 60 ton gewicht. De productie vond plaats in het Technocenter Fly\u2019in in Tarbes, dat zich richt op duurzame luchtvaart.<\/p>\n<h3>Belangrijke component voor veiligheid en prestaties<\/h3>\n<p>De motoren-gondel speelt een centrale rol voor de veiligheid, prestaties en inzetbaarheid van de LCA60T. Ze waarborgt de positionering en bescherming van het stroomopweksysteem, dat bestaat uit een PT6-turbine van Pratt &amp; Whitney Canada, een transmissie van Safran Transmission Systems en een megawatt-generator van Honeywell. Elke LCA60T wordt uitgerust met in totaal vier motoren-gondels.<\/p>\n<p>De acceptatie van het prototype vormt een belangrijke vooruitgang in de integratiepogingen. In het kader van de werkzaamheden aan de turbogeneratie in Longueuil, Qu\u00e9bec, bij partner Pratt &amp; Whitney Canada, kan nu begonnen worden met de assemblage van de testconfiguratie. Bovendien zal de gehele eenheid worden ge\u00efntegreerd op de testbank Dyno Whale.
