De testrit, die begin dit jaar plaatsvond, strekte zich uit over ongeveer 2.400 km en leidde van Duitsland door Nederland, Belgi\u00eb en Denemarken naar Zweden. Doel was om de compatibiliteit tussen de voertuigen en de MCS-laadpalen van verschillende fabrikanten te controleren, evenals de praktische haalbaarheid van het opladen onder winterse omstandigheden te testen.<\/p>\n<p>De testvoertuigen werden opgeladen bij verschillende laadpalen, zowel openbare als priv\u00e9. Een eActros 600 onderging bovendien aanvullende wintertests in de Finse poolcirkel, waar temperaturen tot -20 \u00b0C heersten, voordat hij de terugreis aanvaardde.<\/p>\n<h3>Inzichten uit de testritten<\/h3>\n<p>Peter Ziegler, hoofd E-Charging Components bij Mercedes-Benz Trucks, legt de belangrijkste inzichten uit de tests uit. Deze hebben belangrijke informatie opgeleverd over het batterijwarmtebeheer en de interoperabiliteit tussen voertuig en laadinfrastructuur. De tests bevestigden dat laadvermogens in het megawattbereik ook bij lage temperaturen mogelijk zijn, mits de batterij een voldoende bedrijfstemperatuur heeft. Dit is bijzonder relevant, aangezien het megawattladen doorgaans plaatsvindt tijdens de wettelijk voorgeschreven rijpauzes, wat de inzetbaarheid in de praktijk waarborgt. Bovendien konden bij verschillende laadpunten succesvolle laadprocessen worden uitgevoerd, die de praktische haalbaarheid van het systeem aantonen.<\/p>\n<h3>Potentieel van het megawattladen<\/h3>\n<p>Mercedes-Benz Trucks ziet een centrale rol voor het megawattladen in de elektrificatie van het zware vrachtvervoer en ondersteunt de MCS-norm als een open, fabrikantoverschrijdende oplossing. Gezien de dynamische ontwikkeling op de markt voor batterij-elektrische bedrijfsvoertuigen wordt een uniforme, internationaal compatibele laadstandaard als steeds belangrijker beschouwd. De MCS-norm moet de interoperabiliteit, schaalbaarheid en investeringszekerheid over verschillende markten en fabrikanten heen bevorderen.<\/p>\n<h3>Volgende stappen naar de finalisering van de MCS-norm<\/h3>\n<p>De lopende finalisering van de MCS-norm omvat zowel de hardware als de software van de voertuigen alsook die van de laadinfrastructuur. In de komende maanden plant Mercedes-Benz Trucks verdere tests naar de interoperabiliteit met verschillende laadpaalfabrikanten, om de samenwerking tussen voertuig en laadinfrastructuur verder te optimaliseren.<\/p>\n<p>Daarnaast neemt Daimler Truck als industriepartner deel aan het project &#8222;HoLa Hochleistungsladen im Lkw-Fernverkehr&#8220; en zal gedurende het jaar de eActros 600 in de hoogvermogenlaadinfrastructuur in de praktijk testen. In de tweede helft van het jaar zijn de eerste klantproeven van MCS-geschikte eActros 600 in de echte logistieke operatie voorzien. Deze voertuigen zullen worden ingezet in het kader van het project ter elektrificatie van de transportlogistiek van de Duitse Mercedes-Benz Trucks productiefaciliteiten &#8222;Electrify Inbound Logistic&#8220; bij verschillende klanten. Om de laadtijden van de E-vrachtwagens te verkorten, is bovendien een MCS-geschikte laadpaal op het terrein in W\u00f6rth am Rhein gepland, die medio dit jaar in gebruik moet worden
