Deze maatregelen zijn gericht op het waarborgen van het transport zonder doorgang via de strategisch belangrijke Straat van Hormuz.<\/p>\n<h3>Strategische transportoplossingen voor de regio<\/h3>\n<p>Gezien de beperkingen in het maritieme verkeer door de situatie in de Straat van Hormuz heeft de CMA CGM Group de veiligheid van zijn bemanningen en medewerkers als hoogste prioriteit gesteld. Om de continu\u00efteit van de handelsstromen in en uit het Midden-Oosten te waarborgen, mobiliseert het bedrijf zijn wereldwijde netwerken en ge\u00efntegreerde logistieke capaciteiten. De nieuwe multimodale oplossingen combineren maritieme, spoor- en wegtransporten om de logistieke stromen in de regio in stand te houden.<\/p>\n<p>De strategische havens van Khor Fakkan, Fujairah en Sohar, die ten zuiden van de Straat van Hormuz liggen, fungeren als centrale toegangspunten voor de goederenstroom naar de Golfregio. Vanuit deze havens biedt CMA CGM logistieke corridors aan die de belangrijkste knooppunten van de VAE bedienen, waaronder Khalifa, Jebel Ali en Sharjah, evenals andere aangrenzende landen van de Arabische Golf. Deze multimodale organisatie waarborgt de continu\u00efteit en vloeibaarheid van de toeleveringsketens in de regio.<\/p>\n<h3>Alternatieve transportwegen via Saoedi-Arabi\u00eb en Oman<\/h3>\n<p>Naast de verbindingen via de VAE maakt CMA CGM gebruik van de haven van Jeddah aan de Rode Zee als een andere alternatieve transportweg. Vanuit Jeddah worden wegcorridors opgezet die, met of zonder maritieme verbinding, het transport naar Saoedi-Arabi\u00eb (Dammam), de VAE, Qatar, Bahrein, Koeweit en Irak mogelijk maken. Deze regeling stelt in staat om de goederenstromen ook met de Middellandse Zee en Azi\u00eb te verbinden, zonder de risico&#8217;s van de Straat van Hormuz te hoeven nemen.<\/p>\n<p>Bovendien vertrouwt CMA CGM op de havens in het Sultanaat Oman om een derde belangrijke wegomleiding aan te bieden. Deze havens maken wegverbindingen naar de VAE en verbindingen naar de Boven-Golf mogelijk, die weg- en feederdiensten combineren en een betrouwbare alternatieve oplossing voor regionale en grensoverschrijdende transporten bieden.<\/p>\n<p>Met deze maatregelen bevestigt CMA CGM zijn vermogen om geopolitieke risico&#8217;s te anticiperen en robuuste, flexibele en veilige logistieke
