Gezien het aanstaande einde van het huurcontract voor de huidige vestiging in Camphin-en-Carembault heeft de organisatie besloten te investeren in een permanente oplossing. De nieuwe locatie in Douvrin zal zich bevinden op een terrein van 3 ha in de Rue de Prague, nabij ID Logistics en SICAD.<\/p>\n<h3>Nieuw gebouw voor gezamenlijke diensten<\/h3>\n<p>Het geplande gebouw zal een oppervlakte van 6.000 m\u00b2 beslaan en is ontworpen als een &#8222;platform voor brouwerijactiviteiten&#8220;. Het doel is om brouwers \u2013 ongeacht hun grootte \u2013 een reeks gezamenlijke diensten aan te bieden die vaak kostbaar of tijdrovend zijn wanneer ze individueel worden geleverd. GBS zal fungeren als operationele &#8222;back-office&#8220; dienstverlener en verschillende aanvullende diensten aanbieden, waaronder opslag en orderverwerking ter optimalisatie van de logistiek, de productie van verpakkingen en seizoensgebonden producten, evenals ondersteuning op administratief en technologisch gebied zoals douane, boekhouding en marketing.<\/p>\n<p>Het concept van wederzijdse ondersteuning moet brouwers in staat stellen zich te concentreren op de productie en distributie, terwijl GBS een deel van de logistieke, regelgevende en administratieve uitdagingen op zich neemt.<\/p>\n<h3>Oplevering en toekomstige perspectieven<\/h3>\n<p>Volgens GBS bevinden de plannen en het bouwproces zich nog in de beginfase. De planning voorziet dat de bouwwerkzaamheden eind november 2027 zijn afgerond, gevolgd door de ingebruikname in het eerste halfjaar van 2027.
