Deze maatregel is gericht op het bieden van nauwkeurige en gestandaardiseerde emissiegegevens aan de luchtvrachtsector. De integratie moet gebruikers in staat stellen om vlugspecifieke CO2-emissiegegevens direct in hun bestaande werkprocessen op te vragen.<\/p>\n<p>Het IATA &#8222;CO2 Connect for Cargo Tool&#8220; werd begin 2026 ge\u00efntroduceerd en maakt gebruik van operationele gegevens van luchtvaartmaatschappijen om emissieberekeningen uit te voeren. Hierbij worden informatie zoals het brandstofverbruik van vliegtuigtypen en vracht- en passagierslastfactoren in overweging genomen. Dit vormt volgens Awery een vooruitgang, aangezien de berekeningen niet langer op algemene branchegemiddelden zijn gebaseerd, maar op concrete gegevens die door meer dan 100 luchtvaartmaatschappijen worden verstrekt.<\/p>\n<p>De &#8222;CO2 Connect-rekenaar&#8220;
