De volledige herinvoering van de gehele lijn is gepland voor de kleine dienstregelingwijziging op 14 juni 2026, aldus het bedrijf.<\/p>\n<h3>Infrastructuurverbeteringen<\/h3>\n<p>De renovatiewerkzaamheden omvatten een vernieuwing van de infrastructuur, die ten goede moet komen aan reizigers en goederenvervoerders. De maatregelen omvatten de vernieuwing van 165 km spoor en bijna 250 wissels. Daarnaast zijn er zes nieuwe overgangen gecre\u00eberd, zijn er zes seinhuizen gebouwd en zijn er 19 extra gemoderniseerd. Deze verbeteringen moeten niet alleen de betrouwbaarheid van het treinverkeer verhogen, maar ook een hogere frequentie van treinverbindingen mogelijk maken.<\/p>\n<p>Gerd-Dietrich Bolte, bestuurslid infrastructuurplanning en -projecten van DB InfraGO, uit zich in een verklaring over de vertragingen, die volgens hem zijn veroorzaakt door de &#8222;uitzonderlijk sterke en langdurige winterinval in Noord-Duitsland&#8220;.
