Het doel van het project is volgens een mededeling van de haven de prestaties van deze technologie in een echte mariene omgeving te evalueren. In de eerste fase moeten technische conclusies worden getrokken over de verdere ontwikkeling van het systeem en de toepassingsmogelijkheden in offshore-omgevingen.<\/p>\n<p>De pilot, die een oppervlakte van 12 x 12 m beslaat, is verankerd in het Santurtzi-dok. Hij bestaat uit een modulaire gespannen membraan- en netstructuur, die wordt ondersteund door een externe frame. Deze constructie moet de aanpassingsmogelijkheden aan dynamische golfbelastingen verbeteren en het gebruik van transporteerbare componenten mogelijk maken. Hierdoor zouden volgens de haven zowel de installatietijden als de logistieke complexiteit kunnen worden verminderd.<\/p>\n<h3>Inzichten in de uitdagingen van de mariene omgeving<\/h3>\n<p>Het project moet inzichten opleveren over hoe verschillende factoren zoals golven, wind, corrosie en de complexiteit van het verankeringssysteem de prestaties van de drijvende zonne-installatie be\u00efnvloeden. Het initiatief maakt deel uit van het &#8222;Seamod-project&#8220;, dat zich richt op modulaire oplossingen voor fotovolta\u00efsche systemen in mariene omgevingen. De voorgestelde oplossing is volgens de haven zo ontworpen dat deze schaalbaar is en kan worden gecombineerd met andere hernieuwbare energiebronnen, zoals offshore-windenergie. Hierdoor moet het potentieel van de zee worden benut ter ondersteuning van de energietransitie, terwijl tegelijkertijd de druk op landbouw- en bouwgrond wordt verminderd.<\/p>\n<p><a
