Het doel is om de veiligheid te verhogen en de reactietijd bij het omgaan met levende dieren op het platform te verbeteren.<\/p>\n<p>Het programma bereidt medewerkers voor op situaties met huisdieren, exotische dieren, potentieel gevaarlijke dieren en grote landbouwhuisdieren. De training omvat diergedrag, zo\u00f6nose-risico&#8217;s, veilige hanteringsmethoden en procedures voor het identificeren en beheersen van ongebruikelijke of gevaarlijke soorten.<\/p>\n<p>Jaarlijks worden er op de luchthaven Heathrow grote hoeveelheden levende dieren afgehandeld, waaronder paarden, vogels, reptielen, vissen en huisdieren. Volgens Harc vereist deze diversiteit goed opgeleid personeel dat snel kan reageren bij incidenten in operationele gebieden.<\/p>\n<p>Peter Dunphy, voorzitter van het Port Health and Environmental
