De aankoopprijs bedraagt 55 miljoen EUR, daarnaast bestaat er een optie voor de verwerving van de resterende 30% binnen vier jaar. Met de transactie versterkt de Post haar bestaande activiteiten in de grensoverschrijdende onlinehandel in Zuidoost- en Oost-Europa.<\/p>\n<p>Walter Oblin, algemeen directeur van de Oostenrijkse Post, noemde de stap een belangrijk onderdeel van de groeistrategie \u00abLead 2030\u00bb. De samenwerking moet een uitgebreid e-commerce systeem cre\u00ebren dat handelaren ondersteunt langs hun internationale toeleveringsketens.<\/p>\n<p>De aanbieder verbindt online winkels via een interface met verschillende e-commerce platforms en ook met transportoplossingen. Hierdoor krijgen handelaren verbeterde toegang tot markten in Zuidoost- en Oost-Europa.<\/p>\n<p>Het in 2012 opgerichte bedrijf \u00abeuShipments.com\u00bb beheert meerdere fulfillment-locaties en ondersteunt online handelaren met diensten langs de gehele e-commerce waardeketen.
