Volgens een analyse van Freightos, die zich richt op de ontwikkelingen sinds de Amerikaanse-Isra\u00eblische aanvallen op Iran, zijn de lucht- en zeevrachtprijzen de afgelopen dagen gestegen, terwijl tegelijkertijd de logistieke verstoringen in de regio toenemen.<\/p>\n<p>De zeevrachtprijzen, gemeten aan de hand van de Freightos Baltic Index, bleven voor de routes van Azi\u00eb naar de west- en oostkust van de VS stabiel. Daarentegen vertoonden de prijzen voor het transport van Azi\u00eb naar Noord-Europa een daling van 1%, terwijl de prijzen voor de route naar de Middellandse Zee met 2% daalden. Op het gebied van luchtvracht stegen de wekelijkse prijzen voor het transport van China naar Noord-Amerika met 2% en naar Noord-Europa met 7%. Ook de prijzen voor het transport van Noord-Europa naar Noord-Amerika stegen met 3%.<\/p>\n<h3>Onderbrekingen in de containervervoer<\/h3>\n<p>Ondanks de grotendeels operationele voortzetting in de havens hebben de veiligheidsrisico&#8217;s en de sluiting van de Straat van Hormuz ertoe geleid dat grote containerrederijen hun schepen omleiden, vaarten annuleren en nieuwe boekingen opschorten. Hapag-Lloyd en MSC hebben boekingen vanuit de Perzische Golfhavens en van alle oorsprongen naar deze havens stopgezet. CMA CGM heeft alle boekingen naar en van de Perzische Golfhavens stopgezet, terwijl Maersk alle nieuwe boekingen voor koelcontainers in de gehele regio heeft opgeschort.<\/p>\n<p>Deze maatregelen leiden tot onzekere vertragingen voor verzenders die goederen in en uit het Golfgebied vervoeren. De geannuleerde vaarten hebben al geleid tot een stijging van de containerbestanden in India, wat het risico op overbelasting in de containerterminals vergroot. Ook in de havens van de verre oost kan het tot opstoppingen komen als de sluiting langer aanhoudt.<\/p>\n<p>Rederijen die nog steeds naar de regio varen, leiden al containers om die onderweg zijn, waarbij de meeste ladingen naar verwachting in overslaghavens in Singapore, Maleisi\u00eb en Sri Lanka worden gelost. In vergelijking met eerdere crises wordt echter verwacht dat de overbelastingen in deze havens door lagere volumes en hogere capaciteiten niet zo ernstig zullen zijn.<\/p>\n<h3>Gevolgen voor de luchtvrachtmarkt<\/h3>\n<p>Ook de sluiting van het luchtruim boven Bahrein, Qatar, Koeweit en de VAE heeft aanzienlijke invloed op het transport van goederen in en uit de regio. Qatar Airways en Emirates Skycargo hebben talrijke vluchten geannuleerd, wat heeft geleid tot een afname van de wereldwijde capaciteit.<\/p>\n<p>De luchtvrachtprijzen zijn al begonnen te stijgen, waarbij de prijzen voor transporten van Zuidoost-Azi\u00eb naar Europa met meer dan 6% zijn gestegen tot 3,82 USD\/kg. Ook de prijzen voor transporten van Zuidoost-Azi\u00eb naar Noord-Amerika en van Zuid-Azi\u00eb naar Europa zijn gestegen.
