De groepsomzet bedroeg 82,9 miljard euro, wat een daling betekent ten opzichte van 84,2 miljard euro in het voorgaande jaar. Deze daling wijt het bedrijf onder andere aan valutawijzigingen.<\/p>\n<h3>Operationeel resultaat en winstgevendheid<\/h3>\n<p>Het operationeel resultaat (EBIT) kon echter worden verhoogd tot 6,1 miljard euro, wat een verbetering is ten opzichte van de 5,9 miljard euro in het boekjaar 2024. De EBIT-marge steeg naar 7,4 procent, nadat deze het voorgaande jaar op 7,0 procent lag. Deze ontwikkeling schrijft DHL toe aan actief capaciteitsmanagement en structurele kostenverbeteringen. Daarnaast overtrof de groep volgens eigen zeggen de prognoses met een vrije cashflow van 3,2 miljard euro, vergeleken met 3,0 miljard euro in het voorgaande jaar.<\/p>\n<h3>Dividendverhoging en vooruitzicht<\/h3>\n<p>De raad van bestuur en de raad van toezicht van DHL Group hebben de algemene vergadering voorgesteld om het dividend te verhogen naar 1,90 euro per aandeel, na 1,85 euro in het voorgaande jaar.
