Deze overeenkomst, die een looptijd van twee jaar heeft, voorziet in een contractuele vermindering van in totaal 18.000 ton CO\u2082e, zoals Hapag-Lloyd meldt. De focus ligt op Scope-3-emissies, die indirecte emissies omvatten die in de waardeketen van een bedrijf ontstaan. De samenwerking tussen Hapag-Lloyd en DSV is gebaseerd op een reeds bestaande samenwerking op het gebied van maritieme biobrandstoffen, die in 2022 is gestart.<\/p>\n<h3>Details van de overeenkomst<\/h3>\n<p>Volgens de overeenkomst worden de emissiereducties behaald op basis van de Well-to-Wake-berekening (WTW). De contractperiode begint in 2026, en de reducties moeten worden bereikt door het gebruik van biobrandstoffen van de tweede generatie.
