De &#8222;Volvo VNR&#8220; is volgens de fabrikant ontworpen om te voldoen aan de specifieke eisen van stedelijke en regionale leveringsbedrijven.<\/p>\n<p>De introductie van de &#8222;Volvo VNR&#8220; vond plaats in maart 2025, gevolgd door de opening van de bestelboeken zes maanden later. Nu heeft het bedrijf de eerste voertuigen geproduceerd. De transporter is gebaseerd op een nieuw ontwikkelde platform dat volgens de fabrikant voor 90 procent afwijkt van de vorige modelreeks. Dit moet een betere aanpassing aan de uitdagingen in stedelijke omgevingen bieden.<\/p>\n<h3>Modernisering van de productielocatie<\/h3>\n<p>De montage van de &#8222;Volvo VNR&#8220; vindt plaats in de New River Valley fabriek, de grootste productiefaciliteit van Volvo Trucks wereldwijd. Om de productiecapaciteiten uit te breiden en de effici\u00ebntie te verhogen, heeft Volvo onlangs 400 miljoen dollar ge\u00efnvesteerd in uitgebreide moderniseringen.
