In zijn nieuwe rol zal Fotouhi de verantwoordelijkheid voor bedrijf brede innovatiestrategie\u00ebn op zich nemen, die gericht zijn op het verbeteren van de concurrentiekracht van Magaya en het verhogen van de operationele effici\u00ebntie. Voorheen was hij Chief Technology Officer voor Magaya Customs Compliance en heeft hij in deze functie aanzienlijk bijgedragen aan de verdere ontwikkeling van de compliance-oplossingen van het bedrijf.<\/p>\n<h3>Focus op nieuwe technologie\u00ebn en markt kansen<\/h3>\n<p>Fotouhi zal zich in zijn nieuwe functie richten op het bevorderen van nieuwe technologie\u00ebn, het identificeren van opkomende markt kansen en de strategische implementatie binnen het bedrijf. Dit gebeurt onafhankelijk van de verantwoordelijkheid voor productontwikkeling en dagelijkse technologieoperaties. Zijn doel is ervoor te zorgen dat Magaya aan de voorhoede van innovatie in de wereldhandel en logistiek blijft.<\/p>\n<p>Fotouhi kwam in 2020 bij Magaya, nadat het bedrijf het door hem opgerichte cloudgebaseerde platform ACELYNK had overgenomen. Onder zijn leiding is Magaya Customs Compliance uitgegroeid tot een van de meest geavanceerde oplossingen in de sector, die zich voortdurend aanpast aan de veranderende regelgeving en de toenemende complexiteit van de handel.<\/p>\n<p>CEO Gary Nemmers: \u201eMatthew past innovatie snel en doelgericht toe. In een omgeving waar tarieven en regelgeving van de ene op de andere dag veranderen, zorgt hij ervoor dat onze klanten de tools en informatie hebben die ze nodig hebben om zonder onderbrekingen bij te blijven.\u201c<\/p>\n<h3>Reactie op regelgevende veranderingen<\/h3>\n<p>Vorig jaar speelde Fotouhi een cruciale rol in het begeleiden van klanten door belangrijke regelgevende en politieke veranderingen. Hij leidde de proactieve automatisering van nieuwe tariefregimes, inclusief complexe tariefstructuren, en zorgde ervoor dat de brokers voorbereid waren op aanstaande veranderingen in de sector. Bovendien verbeterde zijn team de ondersteuning voor formele en informele aangiften om de operationele continu\u00efteit voor brokers met een hoog volume te waarborgen.<\/p>\n<p>Fotouhi was ook aanzienlijk betrokken bij de ontwikkeling van nieuwe dienstverleningsaanbiedingen en prijsmodellen om tegemoet te komen aan de exponenti\u00eble toename van de gegevenscomplexiteit in verband met de evoluerende eisen voor e-commerce aangiften.
