Moller \u2013 Maersk, en Eurogate hebben aangekondigd in vergevorderde onderhandelingen te zijn over een langdurig partnerschap. Het doel van dit partnerschap is om \u00e9\u00e9n miljard euro te investeren in de modernisering van de North Sea Terminal Bremerhaven (NTB). Deze investeringen moeten de terminal ontwikkelen tot een van de modernste en effici\u00ebntste overslagfaciliteiten in Europa.<\/p>\n<h3>Modernisering en capaciteitsuitbreiding<\/h3>\n<p>De geplande investeringen omvatten de modernisering van de technische uitrusting van de terminal, evenals een verhoging van de jaarlijkse overslagcapaciteit van momenteel drie naar vier miljoen TEU (Twenty-foot Equivalent Units). Een centraal element van de plannen is de volledige elektrificatie van de overslagoperaties. Door het gebruik van hernieuwbare energie streeft de NTB ernaar als eerste terminal van dit type in Duitsland zero-broeikasgasemissies in de operatie te bereiken. De uitvoering van deze plannen is echter nog afhankelijk van goedkeuringen.<\/p>\n<p>Vincent Clerc, CEO van A.P.
