Deze stijging benadrukt de veerkracht van de sector te midden van geopolitieke spanningen, aanpassingen in de toeleveringsketens en een gematigde economische groei. Het merendeel van de stijging werd geregistreerd op de luchthavens van de EU+, waar het vrachtverkeer met 3,6% toenam. In tegenstelling tot dit, vertoonden luchthavens buiten de EU+ een gematigder groei van 0,4%.<\/p>\n<h3>Frankfurt blijft leidend in luchtvrachtverkeer<\/h3>\n<p>Frankfurt heeft zich opnieuw gevestigd als de drukste vrachtluchthaven van Europa en verwerkte bijna 2 miljoen ton vracht (+2%). Hiermee ligt de grootste Duitse luchthaven voor op de luchthavens van Istanbul (1,967 miljoen ton, +0,1%), Parijs-CDG (1,92 miljoen ton, +2,3%), Londen-Heathrow (1,549 miljoen ton, +0,8%) en Amsterdam-Schiphol (1,429 miljoen ton, -4,2%). Bijzonder opvallend zijn de luchthavens van Luik (1,323 miljoen ton, +13,9%) en Madrid (840.000 ton, +9,6%), die beide een dubbele groei konden realiseren. Dit onderstreept het blijvende belang van gespecialiseerde vrachtcentra en flexibele capaciteiten.<\/p>\n<p>De prestaties in het luchtvrachtverkeer staan in nauw verband met veranderende handelsmodellen, e-commerce en de voortdurende herstructurering van toeleveringsketens. Ook verschillende secundaire knooppunten winnen steeds meer aan betekenis. Boedapest heeft zich met een stijging van 53,7% tot 362.119,4 ton verder gevestigd als een belangrijke vrachtknooppunt in Midden- en Oost-Europa.
