Dit werd bekendgemaakt door International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI), waarvan de dochteronderneming Terminal II in de haven van Manzanillo beheert. Dit cijfer moet de centrale rol van de terminal als belangrijkste toegangspunt voor de internationale containerhandel in Mexico benadrukken, aldus het bedrijf.<\/p>\n<p>Een uitgebreide strategie, die volgens ICTSI is gebaseerd op een solide operationele capaciteit en effici\u00ebntie, heeft bijgedragen aan het feit dat Contecon Manzanillo de hoogste containeroverslag in de haven van Manzanillo kon registreren. In 2025 meldde de terminal een groei van 10,5% in de importvolumes en 12,5% in de exportvolumes, terwijl de prestaties van de meeste andere havens aan de Pacifische kust van Mexico grotendeels stagneerden, aldus het bedrijf.<\/p>\n<h3>Investeringen voor capaciteitsuitbreiding<\/h3>\n<p>Sinds 2023 heeft Contecon Manzanillo meer dan 300 miljoen USD ge\u00efnvesteerd in de uitbreidingsfasen 3A en 3B. Deze investeringen zijn gericht op het verhogen van de capaciteit van de opslag- en ligplaatsen en het toevoegen van gespecialiseerd materieel.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ictsi.com\/\"
