De opslaghal beslaat een oppervlakte van ongeveer 7.600 vierkante meter. Hiermee wil het bedrijf volgens een mededeling de optimalisatie van interne opslagprocessen bereiken, die van opslag tot orderverzameling en verzending reiken. Het bedrijf heeft gekozen voor het &#8222;LIS Warehouse Management System&#8220; (LWM) van LIS Logistische Informationssysteme GmbH.<\/p>\n<h3>Modernisering van de opslagprocessen<\/h3>\n<p>De beslissing voor het nieuwe WMS werd genomen in het kader van een moderniseringsproject dat gepaard ging met de bouw van de nieuwe opslaghal. Deze hal is speciaal ontworpen voor het gebruik van cantileverstellingen en meerweg zijladers. Dominik Fischer, Application Owner bij Kardex, benadrukt de noodzaak van deze maatregelen: \u201eMet de toenemende materiaaldoorvoer en een groeiende diversiteit aan artikelen was het duidelijk: we hebben meer ruimte en modernere structuren nodig.
