Rond de 500 gasten verzamelden zich in de Brewery in Londen om de winnaars van de BIFA Freight Service Awards 2025 te vernemen. De moderator van het evenement, Steve Backshall, die bekendstaat als tv-presentator, avonturier, auteur en natuurbeschermer, maakte de namen bekend van de negen winnende bedrijven en twee uitmuntende individuen in elf categorie\u00ebn.<\/p>\n

Steve Parker, algemeen directeur van de British International Freight Association (BIFA), benadrukte de hoge kwaliteit van de inzendingen. Dit jaar hadden 33 expediteurs de shortlists in de negen dienstverleningscategorie\u00ebn bereikt, waarbij zeven van hen in meerdere categorie\u00ebn erkenning kregen. Tijdens het evenement werd bovendien 4.500 GBP ingezameld voor de goede doelenpartner van BIFA, Transaid.<\/p>\n

Winnaars in verschillende categorie\u00ebn<\/h3>\n

In de categorie „Air Freight Forwarder of the Year“, gesponsord door IAG Cargo, won JCS Livestock van Atlantic Pacific Global Logistics, KLN Freight (UK) en Pro-Logist. ALS Customs Services won in de categorie „Customs Compliance Services“ (gesponsord door CNS) en kon zich tegen sterke concurrentie van EV Cargo Global Forwarding, Samphire Customs, Seafast Logistics en UK Customs Solutions bewijzen.<\/p>\n

Simpex Express werd uitgeroepen tot beste Europese logistiekdienstverlener van het jaar en verwees Brunel European, JPM Future en Transportify naar de plaatsen. In de categorie „Extra Mile“, gesponsord door Descartes Systems, won Carousel Logistics, terwijl Efret, JCS Livestock, Mercury Freight en UPS SCS ook genomineerd waren.<\/p>\n

DFDS Logistics triomfeerde in de categorie „Project Forwarding“ (gesponsord door BT) en versloeg Deugro (UK), DHL Global Forwarding en Killick Martin & Co. Denholm Good Logistics werd uitgeroepen tot „Sea Freight Forwarder of the Year“ en versloeg KLN Freight (UK) en Rohlig UK. Unsworth UK won in de categorie „Staff Development“ (gesponsord door Albacore Systems) en liet Ital Logistics, Metro Shipping, Neon Freight en Pro Carrier achter zich.<\/p>\n

In de categorie „Sustainable Logistics & the Environment“ (gesponsord door American Airlines Cargo) werd Freight Systems Express (Wales) als winnaar gekroond, gevolgd door Baxter Freight, Carousel Logistics en DFDS Logistics. In de categorie „Value-Added Services“ (gesponsord door Menzies LLP) won IFE Global Logistics van Elite Logistics Consultants, HSM Global en Uniserve.<\/p>\n

Individuele onderscheidingen<\/h3>\n

In de twee categorie\u00ebn voor individuen werd Veronika Litterova van Avocet Clearance uitgeroepen tot „Apprentice of the Year“ (gesponsord door World Insurance Services, Inc.). Ze versloeg sterke concurrenten zoals Dylan Cheesman en Nathan Brooks van Unsworth UK, evenals Peter Boyd en Joseph Findlay van DHL Global Forwarding (UK). Joshua Harbottle van cargo-partner werd uitgeroepen tot „Young Freight Forwarder of the Year“ (gesponsord door Virgin Atlantic Cargo) en verwees Nathan George van DSV, Rachel Townsley van IFE Global Group en Mitchell Ward-Broadfield van Rohlig UK naar de plaatsen.<\/p>\n

Parker sprak over de onderscheidingen: „De BIFA Freight Service Awards worden door velen gezien als de Oscars van de Britse expeditie- en logistieksector. We zijn opnieuw verheugd over het aantal en de diversiteit van de ingediende bijdragen.“ Hij bedankte de sponsors voor hun waardevolle bijdragen en de tijd die ze hebben gestoken in de beoordeling en selectie van de winnaars om het succes van de competitie te waarborgen.<\/p>\n
