In een recente update over het onderzoek (DCA26MA024) meldde de NTSB dat de geborgen vliegtuigcomponenten een metallurgische analyse ondergaan. Dit omvat de inspectie van breukvlakken en primaire structurele elementen.<\/p>\n<h3>Onderzoek van de vliegtuigcomponenten<\/h3>\n<p>De onderzoekers bekijken ook de prestaties van de motoren, de systemen voor duwregeling, de vluchtbesturing en het gedrag van de automatisering tijdens de naderingsfase. De vluchtdatarecorders en de cockpitvoicerecorders konden succesvol worden uitgelezen. Deze gegevens worden nu vergeleken met weersinformatie en technische gegevens van het vliegtuig.<\/p>\n<p>De NTSB benadrukt dat het onderzoek nog steeds gaande is en dat er tot nu toe geen conclusies zijn getrokken over de waarschijnlijkste oorzaak van het ongeval.
