Dit schip maakt deel uit van de Ocean-Class-vloot van het bedrijf en vormt een belangrijke stap in de strategie voor vlootuitbreiding, aldus het bedrijf. De komst van het nieuwe schip moet de inzet van Sallaum Lines voor duurzame en energie-effici\u00ebnte maritieme operaties ondersteunen.<\/p>\n<h3>Technologische vooruitgangen ter vermindering van emissies<\/h3>\n<p>De &#8222;MV Ocean Explorer&#8220; voldoet aan internationale normen op het gebied van milieuprestaties en operationele effici\u00ebntie. Het is uitgerust met een LNG-dual-fuel-aandrijfsysteem dat de emissies van CO\u2082, NOx, SOx en deeltjes aanzienlijk moet verminderen. Deze technologische ontwikkeling sluit aan bij de visie van Sallaum Lines om de decarbonisatie in de RoRo-scheepvaartsector te bevorderen.<\/p>\n<p>Het schip is gebouwd door Fujian Mawei Shipbuilding Ltd. en heeft een totale lengte van 199,90 m en een breedte van 38 m. Het biedt plaats aan tot 7.500 Car Equivalent Units (CEU) op 13 dekken en wordt aangedreven door een LNG-brandstofsysteem met een totale capaciteit van ongeveer 3.500 m\u00b3.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eMet de overdracht van de &#8222;MV Ocean Explorer&#8220;
