Tijdens de huidige bijeenkomst van de aircargo club deutschland (acd) informeerde Dr. Rolf Bauer, mede-oprichter van iViation en opgeleide piloot, over de huidige stand van zaken en de kansen voor de sector.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Frankfurt) iViation ontwikkelt autonome vrachtvliegtuigen en maakt gebruik van KI-ondersteunde engineeringprocessen, die certificeringen in de toekomst aanzienlijk moeten versnellen. Volgens schattingen ligt het marktpotentieel in Europa tot 15 miljard euro.<\/p>\n<p>Ook met het oog op het personeelstekort is de technologie veelbelovend voor de sector. Volgens actuele prognoses ontbreken er wereldwijd al in 2025 ongeveer 34.000 piloten, wat de vraag naar alternatieve, geautomatiseerde luchtvrachtoplossingen vergroot. Internationaal bevindt de technologie zich al in de testfase: In China en de VS worden autonome vracht drones onder duidelijk gedefinieerde voorwaarden getest en ingezet \u2013 meestal in afgebakende luchtruimen, over minder dichtbevolkte gebieden of op vaste routes kunnen drones hier tot 700 kilogram over afstanden tot 520 kilometer vervoeren.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Bauer benadrukte dat de technische ontwikkeling ook in Europa ver gevorderd is, maar dat de grootste uitdaging nog steeds in de certificering ligt. Terwijl andere markten in gecontroleerde testomgevingen eerste praktische ervaringen opdoen, bemoeilijken hier complexe procedures en gefragmenteerde verantwoordelijkheden een snelle uitvoering.<\/p>\n<p>De door iViation geplande drone moet in de toekomst ladingen van ongeveer 500 kilogram over afstanden van tot 2.000 kilometer kunnen vervoeren \u2013 een aanbod dat interessant zou zijn voor express- en speciale logistiek. Maar voor de marktrijpheid moet er eerst een toelatingsmarathon worden doorlopen. &#8220;Het bouwen is niet het probleem, de certificering is dat wel. Europa heeft veel nationale verantwoordelijkheden en een sterk gefragmenteerd luchtruim. Dat remt processen en belemmert innovatie,&#8221; verklaarde Bauer.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Betekenis voor de luchtvracht<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>acd-voorzitter Prof. Dr. Christopher Stoller benadrukte het belang van het onderwerp voor de luchtvrachtsector in Duitsland en Europa. Hij benadrukte dat nieuwe technologie\u00ebn alleen hun volledige potentieel kunnen ontplooien als de randvoorwaarden voor hun invoering niet belemmerend werken. &#8220;Wij verwelkomen toekomstgerichte technologie\u00ebn uitdrukkelijk. Ook politiek zijn er signalen dat innovaties in de luchtvaartsector sterker ondersteund moeten worden.
