KG samen met het bedrijf Colonia een zwaargoedterminal.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Keulen) \u201eHet onderwerp van grootvolume- en zwaartransport zal verder aan betekenis winnen. In de toekomst zullen bijvoorbeeld veel componenten nodig zijn voor de vernieuwing en uitbreiding van de energienetwerken. Om de toch al drukke weg infrastructuur te ontlasten en een zo duurzaam mogelijk transport te waarborgen, is het verplaatsen van deze goederen naar de waterweg en het spoor een belangrijke stap. Daarop stellen we ons met de trimodale installatie in\u201c, legt Marcel Beck, hoofd verkoop haven van RheinCargo, uit.<\/p>\n<p>In de eerste stap is er een rupskraan van Colonia met een capaciteit van tot 130 ton permanent ge\u00efnstalleerd. Hier kunnen grootvolume- en zwaargoederen (GST) direct van het binnenvaartschip op de trein of de vrachtwagen worden overgeladen. De nauwe samenwerking van alle bedrijven binnen de HGK-groep, in het bijzonder met HGK Shipping GmbH, biedt daarbij potentieel voor verdere groei.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Portfolio in de haven optimaal aangevuld<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>\u201eMet de nieuwe zwaargoedterminal wordt het bestaande dienstenportfolio in de haven van Keulen-Niehl optimaal aangevuld.
