Doel is de Metropolitan Opera (MET) in New York, die de complete voorstelling heeft verworven en in haar speellijst heeft opgenomen.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Salzburg\/New York) De opdracht omvat het transport van decors en rekwisieten - verpakt in 18 grote zeecontainers. De uitvoering wordt verzorgd door het Gebr\u00fcder Weiss Air &amp; Sea Team in Salzburg, samen met de afdeling &#8220;Beurs en Meubels&#8221; uit Wenen, die gespecialiseerd is in internationale cultuurtransporten. &#8220;Een project van deze omvang vereist een nauwkeurige planning en een goede afstemming tussen alle betrokkenen,&#8221; legt Maria Naglseder, projectleiding Air &amp; Sea Salzburg bij Gebr\u00fcder Weiss, uit.<\/p>\n<p>Vanwege de beperkte ruimte in het centrum van Salzburg organiseert het team een strak geplande pendeldienst tussen de Salzburg containerterminal en het Festspielhaus. Naglseder: &#8220;Om de twee uur plaatsen we telkens twee lege containers voor het Festspielhaus om te laden en rijden we twee geladen containers terug naar het treinterminal.&#8221; Over het spoor rollen de containers naar de haven van Hamburg. Van daaruit gaat het per schip naar New York en op de laatste mijl naar het Lincoln Center in Manhattan, de zetel van de MET.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Op tijd in de Metropolitan Opera<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Om ook hier een soepel verloop te waarborgen, werkt het team in Oostenrijk nauw samen met de collega&#8217;s van Gebr\u00fcder Weiss USA.
