Het DMI, de stad Daegu in Zuid-Korea, het Fraunhofer IML en de Global Robot Cluster (GRC) ondertekenden op 18 maart 2025 in Dortmund een intentieverklaring (Memorandum of Understanding, MoU) over de samenwerking op het gebied van onderzoek en ontwikkeling van AI-gebaseerd videoleren, om toonaangevende technologie\u00ebn veilig te stellen.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Dortmund) Door internationale gezamenlijke onderzoek en ontwikkeling tussen AI-robotica-instellingen gevestigd in Daegu en toonaangevende buitenlandse onderzoeksinstellingen zoals het Fraunhofer IML, zal het partnerschap de wereldwijde technologische concurrentiekracht versterken en de toegang tot internationale markten uitbreiden. De nu ondertekende intentieverklaring is een kernonderdeel van het project &#8220;Daegu AI Robotics Global Innovation Special Zone&#8221;, dat in mei 2025 van start zal gaan.<\/p>\n<p>Het Fraunhofer IML zal samenwerken met bedrijven uit Daegu op het gebied van onderzoek en ontwikkeling van AI-gebaseerd videoleren. De samenwerking met het Fraunhofer IML zal hun technologische capaciteiten op het gebied van objectherkenning, -identificatie en -classificatie voor robottoepassingen aanzienlijk verbeteren.<\/p>\n<p>De &#8220;Global Innovation Special Zone&#8221; is een innovatiedistrict (cluster) in Koreaanse stijl, waar prioritaire goedkeuringen en downstream regelgeving worden toegepast voor de ontwikkeling van geavanceerde nieuwe producten en diensten voor de uitbreiding naar het buitenland, en waar demonstraties op wereldstandaardniveau worden uitgevoerd. Bedrijven die deelnemen aan de AI Robotics Global Innovation Zone zullen in samenwerking met het Fraunhofer IML demonstratieonderzoek uitvoeren in gebieden zoals de verdere ontwikkeling van autonoom rijden, situatiebeoordeling en de verdere ontwikkeling van AI-modellen, die vaak technische uitdagingen met zich meebrengen bij de ontwikkeling van AI-robots.<\/p>\n<h5>Levenskwaliteit verbeteren met behulp van AI-robotica<\/h5>\n<p>De Daegu Global Innovation Zone heeft als doel de levenskwaliteit in gebieden zoals medische zorg, transport en openbare diensten te verbeteren met behulp van AI-roboticatechnologie. Door de intentieverklaring hoopt de stad Daegu het innovatie-ecosysteem van de AI-robotica-industrie te versterken en zich te vestigen als een leidende stad in de toekomstige robotica-industrie.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Deze intentieverklaring met het Fraunhofer IML zal AI-robotica bedrijven gevestigd in Daegu dienen als een cruciaal springplank om technologische onafhankelijkheid te verkrijgen en toekomstige branchetrends te leiden. Gebaseerd op de prestaties van de reguleringsvrije zone voor mobiele collaboratieve robots en deze intentieverklaring met een wereldwijde instelling, zullen we ons inspannen om een belangrijk knooppunt voor onderzoek en ondersteuning te worden bij de bevordering van Deep-Tech-Unicorns in de roboticasector,&#8221; verklaarde DMI-directeur Song Gyu-ho ter gelegenheid van de ondertekening.<\/p>\n<h5>Hoogwaardige onderzoeksresultaten<\/h5>\n<p>&#8220;De benadering van onze Koreaanse partners stelt ons in staat om technologische ontwikkelingen snel en met een minimale administratieve last te implementeren en te testen. We verwachten hoogwaardige onderzoeksresultaten die zijn verkregen in realistische omgevingen op het gebied van AI-robotica,&#8221; aldus prof.
