Tot de definitieve aanleg worden deze opgeslagen in acht Intermediate Storage Areas (ISA) langs de kabelcorridor.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Holzwickede\/Heilbronn) Rhenus Port Logistics Rhein-Neckar regelt de overslag en tussentijdse opslag van de bijna 100 ton zware kabelhaspels in de daarvoor nieuw verbouwde ISA Heilbronn. De 525-kilovolt ondergrondse kabels (HVDC-kabels) worden in de ISA Heilbronn afgeleverd en brengen speciale eisen met zich mee voor de overslag. De kabelhaspels wegen maximaal 99,5 ton per haspel en moeten met een hoge mate van precisie worden behandeld. Rhenus verzorgt de definitieve overslag van de kabelhaspels en hun opslag in het tussenmagazijn met een straddle carrier, die door de opdrachtgever, de toonaangevende kabelproducent NKT, wordt geleverd. Rhenus biedt uitgebreide infrastructuur om de hoge belastingen door het zware materiaal te kunnen verwerken.<\/p>\n<h5>Expertise in de energietransitie inbrengen<\/h5>\n<p>&#8220;We zijn blij deel uit te maken van het baanbrekende SuedLink-project en onze expertise in de energietransitie in Duitsland te kunnen inbrengen door de werking van het tussenmagazijn in Heilbronn en de overslag van de kabelhaspels,&#8221; zegt Anna Most, managing director van Rhenus Port Logistics Rhein-Neckar. De levering van het materiaal naar de bouwfasen is gepland van 2026 tot 2027. Rhenus zal in totaal meer dan 100 kabelhaspels en ongeveer 280 accessoires tijdens de projectperiode van augustus 2024 tot maart 2027 overslaan en opslaan. Voor het project zijn 10.100 vierkante meter opslagruimte gerenoveerd om de zware lasten te kunnen dragen.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Duurzame stroomvoorziening voor tien miljoen huishoudens<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Het bouwproject &#8220;SuedLink&#8221; is een van de drie grote ondergrondse kabelprojecten die op lange termijn moeten bijdragen aan een duurzame energievoorziening in Duitsland. De twee parallel lopende gelijkstroomleidingen maken de voorziening van tien miljoen huishoudens mogelijk. De trac\u00e9 verbindt het winderige noorden met het zonnigere zuiden en maakt de overdracht van hernieuwbare energie over een afstand van 700 kilometer mogelijk. Mocht de productie van hernieuwbare energie ooit niet voldoende zijn, dan garandeert de aansluiting op de trac\u00e9 NordLink een extra voorzieningszekerheid. Zo kan SuedLink indien nodig stroom uit Noorse waterkracht, een andere hernieuwbare energiebron, in het Duitse elektriciteitsnet injecteren en een stabiele overdrachtcapaciteit van tot vier gigawatt waarborgen.<\/p>\n<h5>Tweede deelname aan een infrastructuurproject<\/h5>\n<p>Voor Rhenus is dit al de tweede deelname aan een infrastructuurproject van de Duitse energietransitie.
