Fnac, de Europese marktleider in de distributie van entertainmentproducten, heeft samen met Ferag een modern omnichannel distributiecentrum in Lissabon geopend. Na een succesvol eerste project in Madrid werd Ferag opnieuw als hoofdaannemer aangesteld. De operatie begon eind 2023.<\/h5>\n

(Hinwil\/Lissabon) De nieuwe faciliteit optimaliseert zowel B2B- als B2C-processen en lost eerdere ruimte- en effici\u00ebntieproblemen op. Voorheen waren handmatige en semi-geautomatiseerde gebieden gescheiden, wat de processen bemoeilijkte. De oplossing van Ferag integreert de modernste technologie\u00ebn, waaronder het Stingray Shuttle-systeem van TGW, Interroll-conveyorsystemen en het I-Pack\u00ae verpakkingssysteem van Sealed Air. De software-integratie op MFC- en WCS-niveau werd ook uitgevoerd door Ferag.<\/p>\n

Optimalisatie van de logistieke processen<\/strong><\/h5>\n

In het B2B-segment voorziet het centrum alle 46 Fnac-winkels in Portugal. De SKU’s worden in containers via transportbanden naar de ferag.denisort-installatie vervoerd, die bestellingen voor 302 bestemmingen sorteert. Het shuttlesysteem fungeert als buffer totdat de containers in de juiste volgorde voor verzending worden vrijgegeven. Volautomatische stapelaars labelen en stapelen de containers voor een effici\u00ebnte vrachtwagenbelading. Dagelijks verlaten zes tot zeven vrachtwagens het centrum, met een capaciteit van maximaal 700 containers per uur.<\/p>\n

In het B2C-segment worden online bestellingen verpakt in gestandaardiseerde dozen om volume en kosten te verlagen. De I-Pack verpakkingsmachine optimaliseert doosformaten, vermindert de handmatige inspanning en verlaagt verzendkosten. Het buffesysteem beheert ook retouren, wat de effici\u00ebntie verder verhoogt.<\/p>\n

Duurzame logistieke oplossing voor de toekomst<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Dankzij de integratie van Ferag is de productiviteit aanzienlijk verbeterd - de labeling is nu vijf keer effici\u00ebnter dan voorheen. De shuttlebuffer maximaliseert het ruimtegebruik en cre\u00ebert uitbreidingsmogelijkheden voor toekomstige groei.<\/p>\n
