De studie biedt inzicht in de winkelgewoonten van consumenten in het komende kerstseizoen. Meer dan 1.300 consumenten wereldwijd gaven informatie over hun voorkeuren met betrekking tot verzending en duurzaamheid.<\/h5>\n<p>(M\u00fcnchen) De resultaten wijzen erop dat het fenomeen &#8220;Holiday Creep&#8221; \u2013 waarbij retailers de feestartikelen elk jaar eerder op voorraad hebben \u2013 mogelijk te wijten is aan een verandering in de winkelvoorkeuren van consumenten. In 2024 is 68 procent van de consumenten van plan om hun kerst- en cadea aankopen v\u00f3\u00f3r de traditionele feestperiode (half november tot december) te doen. Aangezien het hoogseizoen eerder begint, moeten retailers dienovereenkomstig reageren op de eisen en verwachtingen van consumenten.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Belangrijke resultaten van de studie <em>The<\/em> <em>State of Consumer Holiday Shopping 2024<\/em>:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>De meerderheid van de consumenten (53 procent) gaf aan dat ze geen hogere prijzen zouden betalen om ervoor te zorgen dat hun aankopen op tijd voor de feestdagen aankomen.<\/li>\n<li>40 procent van de consumenten gaf aan dat hogere productprijzen dan vorig jaar een van de belangrijkste zorgen zijn bij hun kerstinkopen.<\/li>\n<li>Een andere zorg van consumenten is dat retailers de minimum bestelwaarden voor gratis verzending verhogen of gratis verzending helemaal afschaffen (25 procent). Dicht gevolgd door de algemene zorg over hogere verzendkosten dan vorig jaar (18 procent).<\/li>\n<li>Consumenten maken zich zorgen over stijgende verzendkosten en het afschaffen van gratis verzending.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Duurzaam winkelen wordt steeds populairder bij consumenten - zolang het betaalbaar is:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>65 procent van de consumenten zou merken verkiezen die zich inzetten voor duurzaamheid. Consumenten steunen merken die aandacht besteden aan duurzaamheid, zolang de kosten daarvoor niet te hoog zijn.<\/li>\n<li>51 procent van de consumenten is van plan om eerder in te kopen en te kiezen voor een langzamere verzendmethode om hun ecologische voetafdruk te verkleinen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Consumenten vermijden onbetrouwbare merken<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>58 procent van de consumenten geeft aan dat ze waarschijnlijk niet bij een retailer zullen winkelen die zijn beloofde leverdatum niet nakomt.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8220;We zien dat consumenten hun koop- en duurzaamheidsgewoonten veranderen als het gaat om hun kerstinkopen dit jaar,&#8221; zegt Carson Krieg, Director of Global Alliances bij project44. &#8220;Het kopen van cadeaus v\u00f3\u00f3r het hoogseizoen van de kerstverkoop kan klanten helpen geld te besparen, de CO2-uitstoot te verlagen en problemen met vertraagde leveringen te beperken.
