Tot nu toe actief vanuit de locatie in Rheda-Wiedenbr\u00fcck, opent BLC nu de volgende in Magdeburg. Op de nieuwe locatie in de haven van Magdeburg kunnen tot 15.000 ton batterijen worden verwerkt, ongeveer zes keer zoveel als in Rheda-Wiedenbr\u00fcck. Hiermee opent BLC een van de grootste installaties in Europa en markeert het een belangrijke stap in de capaciteitsuitbreiding van het bedrijf.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Uniek kenmerk automatisering<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>In plaats van een nieuw gebouw te bouwen, heeft BLC een bestaand pand gerenoveerd en aangepast aan de specifieke behoeften van batterijrecycling. De batterijen worden in Magdeburg volledig geautomatiseerd diepontladen en moeten in de toekomst robotgestuurd worden gedemonteerd. &#8220;Een elektrische autobatterij weegt tot 700 kilogram en heeft ongeveer 180 schroeven. De demontage is behoorlijk arbeidsintensief. Als de medewerkers hier elke schroef handmatig moeten hanteren, gaat dat ten koste van de gezondheid, de motivatie en de proces effici\u00ebntie. Dat willen we voorkomen,&#8221; zegt Florian Karlstedt, co-directeur van BLC. Terwijl robots de schroeven van de batterijen losdraaien, kunnen de medewerkers in de fabriek zich concentreren op de taken van hun respectieve vakgebied, zoals kwaliteitscontroles, kabelverbindingen of data-analyse. &#8220;Dit hoge automatiseringsniveau is tot nu toe nog niet gebruikelijk in de sector, omdat de processen zeer complex en arbeidsintensief zijn,&#8221; voegt Florian Karlstedt eraan toe.<\/p>\n<h5>Teruggrijpen op deskundigheid in afval- en grondstofbeheer<\/h5>\n<p>BLC plant in Magdeburg in de toekomst de verwerking van batterijen voor een grondstofbesparende recycling. De levering van goedgekeurde modules voor 2nd-Life-oplossingen, die in stationaire grootschalige opslag (BESS) worden ge\u00efnstalleerd, is al een vast onderdeel van de dagelijkse werkzaamheden. &#8220;Hiermee bereiken we een nieuw niveau van uitbreiding, dat het bedrijf positioneert als innovatief leider in de sector en essentieel is voor de bijbehorende automatisering,&#8221; voegt Lukas Brandl, ook co-directeur bij BLC, eraan toe.<\/p>\n<p>Door de nauwe band met Rhenus Automotive en TSR Automotive kan BLC hier terugvallen op deskundigheid in logistiek, afval- en grondstofbeheer, batterijbeheer en infrastructuur volgens de autobestemming.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>30 tot 40 nieuwe banen<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>BLC cre\u00ebert door de opening op lange termijn ongeveer 30 tot 40 banen in de regio en levert daarmee een belangrijke bijdrage aan de versterking van de lokale economie. De nieuwe locatie ligt niet alleen gunstig aan het knooppunt van de snelwegen in Magdeburg, maar ook zeer centraal in Oost-Duitsland.
