De Saksische minister-president Michael Kretschmer was op 22 juli 2024 als eregast aanwezig bij de opening van de nieuwe batterijrecyclinginstallatie van de WP-dochter ERLOS Productie en Montage. De deelnemers waren het erover eens dat de elektromobiliteit van groot belang is voor de verkeersomslag en dat het hergebruik van gebruikte E-auto-batterijen cruciaal is.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/h5>\n

Minister-president Michael Kretschmer toonde zich onder de indruk van de creativiteit van het Saksische midden- en kleinbedrijf en beloofde ook in de toekomst een open oor te hebben voor hun wensen en zorgen. “Saksen is een innovatieland. De investering in de nieuwe Li-ion batterijrecyclinginstallatie is een belangrijke stap in de verdere ontwikkeling en acceptatie van elektromobiliteit. Bovendien is een goed functionerende circulaire economie de basis voor toekomstgerichte waardecreatie.” De in juli 2024 in gebruik genomen installatie in het Saksische Sch\u00f6nfels is in bijna acht maanden tijd voor 9 miljoen euro gebouwd. De installatie kan in een tweeploegendienst jaarlijks ongeveer 3.500 ton aan autobatterijen recyclen. Dr. Matthias Schmidt, directeur van Erlos, blikte trots terug op de afgelopen jaren en de continue groei.<\/p>\n

Michael Kretschmer was het met de directie van WP Holding en ERLOS eens dat het subsidi\u00ebren op federaal niveau meer rekening moet houden met het midden- en kleinbedrijf en hun belangen, om verdere innovaties “Made in Saksen” mogelijk te maken. Dr. Matthias Schmidt maakte van het bezoek van de minister-president gebruik om een duidelijke oproep aan de politiek te doen, van het federale tot het gemeentelijke niveau: “Een van de meest dringende problemen van het midden- en kleinbedrijf is de jaarlijks toenemende omvang van de statistische documentatieverplichtingen, die de processen in de economie onnodig vertragen.” De directeur van Erlos voegde eraan toe: “Juist de Saksische economie lijdt bovendien onder de aanzienlijke verschillen in het subsidi\u00ebren in vergelijking met de naburige landen, met name Polen en Hongarije. Daar worden heel andere subsidiebedragen aangeboden, wat ons een duidelijk concurrentienadeel oplevert.”<\/p>\n

Problemen met Duitse en Europese subsidieregelingen<\/h5>\n

Doreen Paesold-Runge, directeur van WP Holding, wees ook op de problemen en moeilijkheden van de Duitse en Europese subsidieregelingen. “We zijn zeer verheugd over het opnieuw bezoek van de minister-president en de verdere uitwisseling op alle niveaus, vooral ook met de nieuwe hoofd van het staatssecretariaat, de heer Clemens,” verklaarde ze.<\/p>\n
