Volvo Trucks biedt een van de meest uitgebreide assortimenten aan hernieuwbare brandstoffen voor zijn vrachtwagens, waaronder biodiesel, HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oils) en biogas. B100 is nu beschikbaar voor een breed scala aan motoren voor de Volvo-modellen FL, FE, FM, FMX, FH en FH16.<\/h5>\n<p>(Ismaning) &#8220;Onze klanten zoeken naar oplossingen om hun CO2-emissies te verlagen. Hernieuwbare brandstoffen vormen een aantrekkelijke optie - ze bieden een effici\u00ebnte manier om de CO2-uitstoot in het verkeer snel te verminderen,&#8221; zegt Jan Hjelmgren, hoofd productmanagement en kwaliteit bij Volvo Trucks, en voegt eraan toe: &#8220;Als wereldwijde vrachtwagenfabrikant moeten we voldoen aan een verscheidenheid aan transportbehoeften en marktomstandigheden. Daarom investeren we niet alleen in toekomsttechnologie\u00ebn, maar ook in oplossingen die het transport op korte termijn kunnen decarboniseren.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h5>Besparingen tot 70 procent CO2<\/h5>\n<p>De CO2-besparing door het gebruik van biodiesel (well to wheel) ligt tussen de 30% en 70% in vergelijking met conventionele dieselbrandstof, afhankelijk van het type grondstof dat wordt gebruikt voor de productie van de brandstof. Het huidige aanbod van middelzware en zware vrachtwagens van Volvo wordt vandaag de dag aangeboden met aandrijflijnen die kunnen worden aangedreven door diesel, biodiesel, HVO, CNG (Compressed Natural Gas), LNG (Liquified Natural Gas), bio-CNG, bio-LNG en elektriciteit.<\/p>\n<p>De op hernieuwbare brandstoffen aangedreven verbrandingsmotor is een van de drie pijlers van de decarbonisatiestrategie van Volvo Trucks. De andere twee pijlers zijn batterij-elektrische en brandstofcel-elektrische aandrijvingen. Deze strategie ondersteunt het bedrijfsdoel dat alle verkochte Volvo-vrachtwagens tegen 2040 netto nul-emissies moeten hebben.<\/p>\n<h5>Biodiesel - Feiten<\/h5>\n<p>De beschikbare Volvo-vrachtwagens die zijn gecertificeerd voor biodiesel B100 zijn de Volvo-modellen FL, FE, FM, FMX, FH en FH16 met bepaalde varianten van de 5-, 8-, 13- en 17-liter dieselmotoren - de beschikbaarheid van de varianten verschilt van markt tot markt - zie de link naar de Volvo Trucks vrachtwagenconfigurator hieronder*.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Een model met biodieselcertificering betekent ook dat aan de Euro-6-eisen is voldaan.<\/li>\n<li>Biodiesel is een niet-fossiele brandstof die wordt gewonnen uit plantaardige oli\u00ebn (bijv. raapzaadolie) en relatief eenvoudig te produceren is.<\/li>\n<li>Biodiesel staat ook bekend als vetzuurmethylester (FAME) volgens de norm EN14214.<\/li>\n<li>Alle dieselmotoren van Volvo Trucks zijn ook gecertificeerd voor gebruik met HVO100-brandstof.
