Dit blijkt uit de huidige studie &#8220;The Leading Maritime Cities of the World 2024&#8221; (LMC) van de internationale classificatieorganisatie DNV en het Noorse adviesbureau Menon Economics. Het LMC-rapport vergelijkt en beoordeelt de maritieme steden van de wereld op verschillende criteria, zoals de staat van de scheepvaartsector, de havens en logistiek, de maritieme financi\u00eble en juridische sector, de maritieme technologie\u00ebn en algemeen naar de aantrekkelijkheid en concurrentiekracht.<\/h5>\n<p>Singapur staat volgens de studie op de eerste plaats onder de scheepvaartcentra. Volgens de studie is Singapur uitstekend voorbereid op de digitale transformatie van de sector en is het een wereldwijd leidend centrum voor groene technologie\u00ebn en oplossingen. Ook drie Europese steden behoren tot de eerste vijf leidende maritieme centra ter wereld: Rotterdam (2), Londen (3) en Oslo (5). Plaats 4 wordt ingenomen door de Chinese stad Shanghai. Rotterdam scoort vooral op het gebied van havens en logistiek, Londen is met name sterk gepositioneerd in de maritieme financi\u00eble en juridische sector. Als enige Duitse stad onder de top 50 maritieme locaties ter wereld staat Hamburg op plaats 8 en presteert het vooral goed op het gebied van scheepvaart en havens en logistiek.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;De concurrentie tussen scheepvaartlocaties wereldwijd om de gunst van de rederijen blijft hard. Belangrijke scheepvaartlocaties met gunstige randvoorwaarden liggen vrijwel direct voor onze deur. Het is des te belangrijker om de randvoorwaarden voor rederijen in Duitsland aantrekkelijk te houden. De Duitse handelsvloot is momenteel, ondanks grote uitdagingen, stabiel en veerkrachtig. Het is belangrijk dat dit zo blijft, want de Duitse handelsscheepvaart is een onmisbaar onderdeel van de nationale economie.
