DSV verwacht resultaten die de decarbonisatie van het wegvervoer in de stedelijke omgeving nog duurzamer - en veiliger - kunnen maken.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Bremen) Een elektrische vrachtwagen van het type Volta Zero zonder uitlaatemissies werd op 20.09.2023 in Weilerswist overgedragen door de fabrikant aan de logistieke dienstverlener DSV voor een aanstaande testfase. Dit ondersteunt een proef van de technologie met de al bestaande elektrische vrachtwagenvloot, die sinds het begin van het jaar zorgt voor de emissievrije stadslevering van de markten van dm-drogerie markt in Bonn.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Duurzaamheid en veiligheid <\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><strong>D<\/strong>e bijzonderheid van het model Volta Zero is de positie van de bestuurder: Een verlaagde centrale zitpositie biedt een directe zicht van 220 graden, camera&#8217;s bieden daarnaast 360 graden zichtbaarheid vanuit vogelperspectief.<\/p>\n<p>Vanuit de centrale zitpositie kan de bestuurder aan beide zijden via schuifdeuren op de stoep in- en uitstappen, wat de veiligheid voor zowel de bestuurder als passerende fietsers en voetgangers verhoogt. &#8220;Decarbonisatie gaat hier hand in hand met de inspanning om de levering in stedelijke gebieden voor alle partijen veiliger te maken. De Volta Zero is een veelbelovende voertuig en heeft het potentieel om het stedelijke leververkeer te revolutioneren,&#8221; deelt DSV Road-chef Peter Fog-Petersen mee.<\/p>\n<p>Met een batterijcapaciteit van 150 tot 225 kWh, afhankelijk van de specificatie, biedt de Volta Zero een re\u00eble volledig elektrische actieradius van 150 tot 200 km met een enkele lading.<\/p>\n<p>Usuf Schermo, Head of Sales bij Volta Trucks: &#8220;We zijn erg blij dat de Volta Zero nu in het kader van ons Driving Experience Programma op de Duitse wegen in gebruik is - en dat DSV het voertuig gebruikt voor klantleveringen in de dagelijkse werkzaamheden. Bij Volta Trucks richten we ons op het cre\u00ebren van duurzamere, veiligere en gezondere steden en het bevorderen van de elektrificatie van het stedelijke leververkeer.&#8221; De twee weken durende test moet uitwijzen in hoeverre het model bij DSV kan worden ingezet voor leveringen op de laatste kilometer.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>DSV op weg naar netto-nul <\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>In 2021 introduceerde DSV Green Logistics. Dit is een ambitieus pakket groene oplossingen, dat varieert van CO2-rapportage en strategische optimalisatie van de toeleveringsketen tot emissiecompensatie en duurzame brandstofaanbiedingen. Elke oplossing is gericht op het verminderen van de emissies van DSV-klanten en de Scope-3-emissies van DSV voor transport in onderaanneming. Het Deense logistieke bedrijf heeft zich verplicht om tegen 2050 netto-nul-emissies te realiseren. Bovendien heeft DSV kortetermijndoelen voor duurzaamheid gesteld tot 2030.
