Het internationale logistieke bedrijf Gebr\u00fcder Weiss verzorgt voor het aCentauri Solar Racing Team van de Eidgen\u00f6ssischen Technischen Hochschule Z\u00fcrich (ETH) het transport van een innovatieve zonneauto naar Australi\u00eb. Daar begint eind oktober 2023 de World Solar Challenge. Tijdens deze unieke race leggen 31 teams alleen met zonne-energie de 3.000 kilometer lange route van Darwin dwars door het Australische Outback naar Adelaide af.<\/h5>\n

(Lauterach\/Z\u00fcrich) Om ervoor te zorgen dat het hightech voertuig op tijd aan de andere kant van de wereld aan de start kan verschijnen, levert Gebr\u00fcder Weiss een op maat gemaakte logistieke mix van wegtransport, zee- en luchtvracht.<\/p>\n

\u201eAls wereldwijd logistiek bedrijf zijn we drijvende kracht achter slimme transportoplossingen en dragen we actief bij aan de mobiliteit van morgen,\u201c aldus Frank Haas, Head of Corporate Brand Strategy & Communications bij Gebr\u00fcder Weiss. \u201eDe zonneauto van aCentauri is toekomstgericht en kan de transportsector revolutioneren. Daarom ondersteunen we het team op zijn weg naar Australi\u00eb.\u201c<\/p>\n

De studenten werken al bijna een jaar aan de ontwikkeling en uitvoering van deze zonneauto. Ontworpen voor duurzaamheid en maximale energie-effici\u00ebntie, is het een symbool van de visie op een milieuvriendelijke toekomst. \u201eHet winnen van de race is \u00e9\u00e9n ding. Ons doel is daarnaast om actief bij te dragen aan de ontwikkeling van effici\u00ebnte en ecologische oplossingen,\u201c legt Alexandr Ebn\u00f6ther, Team Manager, aCentauri uit. \u201eMet de ondersteuning van Gebr\u00fcder Weiss kunnen we bewijzen dat auto\u2019s met zonne-energie en dus duurzame mobiliteit mogelijk zijn.\u201c<\/p>\n

Eerste etappe met waterstof-vrachtwagen<\/h5>\n

Alternatieve aandrijvingen staan hoog in het vaandel bij Gebr\u00fcder Weiss. Zo legt de zonneauto van aCentauri de eerste etappe van het transport af met de emissievrije waterstof-vrachtwagen van Gebr\u00fcder Weiss.<\/p>\n
