In zijn nieuwe rol zal hij verantwoordelijk zijn voor het management en de ontwikkeling van meer dan 50 locaties in 20 Europese landen, met diensten langs de gehele spoorgebonden logistieke keten \u2013 van wagonverhuur en spoorlogistiek tot de tractie met het eigen spoorvervoerbedrijf Retrack en het onderhoud en de nieuwbouw van wagons.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Hamburg) Nobis brengt tientallen jaren aan leiderschapservaring mee, gecombineerd met een indrukwekkend trackrecord in de logistieke sector. Hij komt van de DHL Group, waar hij de bedrijfssector DHL Express in steeds complexere rollen beheerde \u2013 aanvankelijk in de financi\u00eble sector tot aan de wereldwijde CFO-positie (2009\u20132012). Later stapte hij over naar managementposities op lokaal, regionaal en wereldwijd niveau. In zijn laatste functie, van begin 2019 tot de zomer van 2023, was Nobis als CEO bij DHL Express Europa verantwoordelijk voor een portfolio van meer dan 50 landen en 45.000 medewerkers. Onder zijn leiding werd de bedrijfssector DHL Express de Europese marktleider op het gebied van marktaandeel, marge, klanttevredenheid en medewerkersbetrokkenheid.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eAlberto Nobis verenigt alle eigenschappen die we nodig hebben om de leidende positie van VTG in Europa de komende jaren verder uit te breiden\u201d, aldus Dr. Alexander Granderath, voorzitter van de Raad van Advies van VTG GmbH. \u201eHij is een gerenommeerde internationale leiderschapsfiguur die zich gepassioneerd inzet voor klantgerichtheid, operationele uitmuntendheid en betrokken teams, en hij heeft een uitstekende staat van dienst in het herstructureren van bedrijven.
