De supply chain- en e-commerce dienstverlener heeft een intelligente robotgestuurde depalettiser ontwikkeld die de processen en de goederenstroom in het magazijn verder versnelt. De eerste twee nieuwe robots zijn nu door Arvato ge\u00efntegreerd in de magazijnprocessen op de locaties in het Nederlandse Venlo en in Louisville, Kentucky\/VS. Op beide locaties zorgen de robots al voor een aanzienlijk hogere doorvoer.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(G\u00fctersloh\/Venlo) &#8220;Het depalettiseren van willekeurige, gemengde dozen is nieuw in de logistiek, terwijl robots in de productie al vele jaren bestaan,&#8221; zegt Karoline Kowalik, logistiek ingenieur bij Arvato. &#8220;Robots zijn normaal gesproken goed in het uitvoeren van \u00e9\u00e9n taak tegelijk, het toevoegen van etiketteringsherkenning en het uit elkaar halen maakt ze bijzonder geschikt voor gebruik in de logistiek.&#8221; In het magazijn moeten robots omgaan met duizenden verschillende maten en vormen in snel veranderende omgevingen. Arvato zocht specifiek naar een leverancier die niet alleen de robot kon leveren, maar ook een kant-en-klare totaaloplossing kon ontwikkelen en internationaal implementeren. In samenwerking met de wereldwijde robotintegrator AWL en de beeldverwerkingsontwikkelaar Fizyr ontwikkelde Arvato zijn depalettiserrobot genaamd &#8216;Stark&#8217;. Met een flexibele grijperkop en een zelflerende AI-visiesoftware kan &#8216;Stark&#8217; tot 750 verschillende dozen per uur op de transportband plaatsen. &#8220;De nauwe samenwerking was de sleutel tot succes, want er zijn maar weinig vergelijkbare oplossingen op de logistieke markt,&#8221; legt Karoline Kowalik uit.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Met onze eerste robottoepassing breiden we onze automatiseringscompetentie en onze oplossingsportfolio verder uit,&#8221; legt Bernhard Lembeck, Vice President Future Warehouse bij Arvato, uit. &#8220;Herhalende processen zoals het in- en uitladen van goederen of het orderpicken kunnen vaak effici\u00ebnter en kosteneffectiever worden afgehandeld, vooral in combinatie met andere automatiseringstechnologie\u00ebn zoals autonome transportsystemen.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Arvato heeft al verschillende projecten ge\u00efnitieerd in verschillende sectoren om de automatisering en het gebruik van innovatieve robotoplossingen verder te bevorderen. Het doel is om in de toekomst de veeleisende fulfillment-eisen van klanten nog betrouwbaarder en flexibeler te vervullen. &#8220;Magazijnautomatisering is niet alleen een optimale ondersteuning voor onze klanten bij de ontwikkeling van hun bedrijf,&#8221; benadrukt Martijn Nielen, Managing Director bij Arvato in Nederland. &#8220;Tegelijkertijd is het ook een belangrijke stap in de digitaliseringsstrategie van Arvato.&#8221; De geautomatiseerde systemen kunnen niet alleen worden ge\u00efntegreerd in de sterk uitgebreide cloudtechnologie van het bedrijf, maar ze genereren ook een schat aan nieuwe gegevens die Arvato samen met de uitgebreide big data uit de hele waardeketen gebruikt om nieuwe digitale oplossingen te ontwikkelen. Innovatieve robotoplossingen, zo zijn de Arvato-experts het erover eens, worden daarom steeds belangrijker op de weg naar het Future Warehouse in de logistiek.
