Het voertuig maakt deel uit van een bedrijfsproject voor alternatieve aandrijvingen in het leveringsverkeer. De REWE Group heeft als doel gesteld om tegen 2040 op bedrijfsniveau klimaatneutraal te zijn. <\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:360}\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Cambria',serif\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<div class=\"entry-content\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">(Keulen) Eind januari rijdt de nieuwe waterstof-brandstofcelvrachtwagen Hyundai Xcient Fuel Cell voor het eerst van het terrein van het logistiek centrum van de REWE-regio West in K\u00f6ln-Langel. Hiermee zet het bedrijf de volgende stap naar een emissievrij goederenvervoer. Volgens schattingen van het bedrijf kan alleen al door het gebruik van de nieuwe vrachtwagen jaarlijks ongeveer 58.000 kg CO2 worden bespaard in vergelijking met een conventionele dieselvrachtwagen. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:360}\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Het voertuig heeft een toegestane totaalgewicht van 27 ton, 18 Europallet-plaatsen en een actieradius van ongeveer 400 km. Met de bijbehorende koelcel kan het worden gebruikt zoals een conventionele vrachtwagen en ook gekoelde of diepgevroren producten afleveren. De H2-vrachtwagen wordt getankt met groen geproduceerde waterstof en is zo 100 procent emissievrij onderweg. Het verbruik <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">ligt rond de 8 kg waterstof per 100 km, de tankbeurt vindt plaats bij de nabijgelegen H2-tankstations.
