De operationele start van het logistiekcentrum Dresden is gepland voor het kerstseizoen van 2023. De bouwwerkzaamheden zijn al begonnen. Het nieuwe gebouw, ontworpen door de Bremer onderneming Peper &amp; S\u00f6hne en gerealiseerd in samenwerking met Goldbeck Nord GmbH, zal bij volle belasting meer dan 200.000 zendingen per dag kunnen verwerken \u2013 bij de start zijn 60.000 zendingen gepland.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Thiendorf) Ongeveer 100 medewerkers zullen zich in de toekomst bezighouden met een soepel verloop op deze high-performance locatie. Het duurzaamheidsconcept van het nieuwe gebouw omvat naast een gouden certificaat van de Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Nachhaltiges Bauen e. V. (DGNB) een fotovolta\u00efsche installatie die de laadinfrastructuur voor elektrische voertuigen van stroom zal voorzien.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eAls het oostelijkste logistiekcentrum zal ons nieuwe gebouw bij Dresden een strategisch belangrijk knooppunt voor Hermes Germany zijn. Ik ben erg blij dat ons logistieke netwerk dit jaar \u2013 op tijd voor het kerstseizoen van 2023 \u2013 wordt verrijkt met een krachtige en toekomstgerichte locatie\u201c, legt Marco Schl\u00fcter, Chief Operations Officer bij Hermes Germany, uit.<\/p>\n<p>Het nieuwe gebouw in de gemeente Thiendorf is gunstig gelegen door de nabijheid van Dresden en Leipzig, evenals de A13 en de Bundesstra\u00dfe 98, zodat bij de start van de operatie al verschillende gebieden in de regio Dresden vanaf daar kunnen worden beleverd. Het hart van de locatie zal een logistieke hal van ongeveer 8.850 vierkante meter zijn, uitgerust met high-performance transport- en sorteertechnologie, die in het begin 15.000 zendingen per uur kan verwerken \u2013 in de toekomst, na verdere uitbreiding, tot 25.000 zendingen per uur. Het is de bedoeling om de operatie van het logistiekcentrum geleidelijk op te schalen. Daarnaast zullen er op het terrein een kantoor- en sociaal gebouw en een portiersgebouw worden gebouwd, waarin een Hermes PaketShop zal worden gevestigd.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eWe zijn er trots op opnieuw samen te werken met Hermes Germany en de bouw van een modern en duurzaam logistiekcentrum als investeerder en projectontwikkelaar te begeleiden. Onze dank gaat ook uit naar de gemeente Thiendorf, die deze nieuwe projectontwikkeling altijd constructief en resultaatgericht heeft ondersteund. De locatie in Thiendorf zal zeker een succesverhaal voor Hermes Germany worden\u201c, zegt Christoph Peper, managing partner van de Peper &amp; S\u00f6hne Unternehmensgruppe.<\/p>\n<p>Hermes Germany heeft al samengewerkt met de Peper &amp; S\u00f6hne Unternehmensgruppe voor de realisatie van zijn distributiecentrum dat in 2020 in Weyhe bij Bremen werd geopend.<\/p>\n<h5><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-22154 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/transportjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/12\/Hermes1_12.01.2023.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"573\" \/><\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5><strong>Door fotovolta\u00efk aangedreven E-mobiliteit en groene daken<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Net als alle nieuwe logistieke locaties van Hermes Germany, zal ook het logistiekcentrum Dresden worden onderscheiden met de gouden status van de Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Nachhaltiges Bauen e. V. (DGNB). Het certificaat erkent het voorbeeldige omgaan met hulpbronnen en het milieu.<\/p>\n<p>Om de laatste mijl op weg naar de pakketontvangers steeds duurzamer te maken, werkt Hermes Germany continu aan de elektrificatie van de voertuigvloot. Dienovereenkomstig zal ook bij het nieuwe distributiecentrum bij Dresden de laadinfrastructuur consequent worden meegenomen. De stroomvoorziening van tot 40 geplande elektrische laadpunten voor E-voertuigen zal plaatsvinden via een fotovolta\u00efsche installatie van ongeveer 3.100 vierkante meter op het dak van de logistieke hal. Alle andere daken van de kantoorgebouwen zullen worden vergroend. Direct vanaf de start van de operatie zullen dagelijks ongeveer 15 routes vanuit de logistieke locatie naar de regio worden gereden, waaronder ook elektrisch aangedreven voertuigen. \u201eDe pakketbezorging van de toekomst moet zo emissievrij mogelijk worden gemaakt.
