In het eerste kwartaal starten wekelijkse directe verbindingen tussen de CTW en Duisburg, M\u00fcnchen, Neurenberg en Kornwestheim. Kort daarna worden in het tweede kwartaal met Ulm, Mannheim en Frankfurt\/Main nog meer belangrijke bestemmingen toegevoegd. Vanaf juni 2023 biedt EGIM dan een verhoogde frequentie van in totaal 13 wekelijkse rondritten aan.<\/p>\n<p>Klimaatvriendelijk spoorvervoer heeft een strategisch belang voor de verdere verkeersontwikkeling van de toekomstgerichte havenlocatie Wilhelmshaven, sinds de JadeWeserPort (JWP) continu bereikbaar is met elektrische locomotieven. Voor EGIM is het een logische stap om het aanbod van duurzame transportoplossingen niet alleen naar Zuid-Duitsland, maar ook in het westen van Duitsland aanzienlijk te versterken. Hier zullen in de toekomst met nieuwe aansluitingen vanaf Wilhelmshaven consequent nieuwe corridors worden ontsloten. De verdere uitbreiding van de spoorinfrastructuur tussen Wilhelmshaven en regio&#8217;s langs de Rijnlijn zal deze ontwikkeling versnellen en daarmee de vrachtstromen veranderen, omdat treinen direct en effici\u00ebnt tot aan de Nedersaksische kade kunnen rijden.<\/p>\n<p>Alle nieuwe verbindingen kunnen ook worden geboekt via het volledig digitale boekingsplatform railMybox, dat begin mei 2022 is ge\u00efntroduceerd. Het gebruiksvriendelijke systeem, dat overtuigt door capaciteitsbelangen tegen vaste prijzen, ziet een stijging in registraties en boekingen.<\/p>\n<p>Gezien de steeds groter wordende containerschepen wordt de JWP met een diepte van 18 meter steeds belangrijker voor de buitenlandse handel. Acht rederijen hebben de JWP al definitief in hun dienstregeling opgenomen, die profiteert van nautische voordelen aan de Noordzeekust.
