De industrie en de voorzieningssector in de Kaukasusregio groeien en zorgen voor een verdere stijging van de goederenin- en -uitvoer. Het bruto binnenlands product per hoofd van de bevolking was na het pandemiejaar 2020 in 2021 met ongeveer 17 procent gestegen.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Tbilisi \/ Lauterach) In het landtransport heeft Gebr\u00fcder Weiss Georgi\u00eb in de afgelopen vijf jaar bijna 75.000 zendingen met een totaal gewicht van 311.000 ton verplaatst, met een stijgende trend. Deze ontwikkeling wordt bevorderd door de toenemende betekenis van de Midden-Corridor als alternatieve route voor de noordelijke verkeersverbindingen via Rusland. Ook Gebr\u00fcder Weiss had in juli aangekondigd zijn transportverbindingen van Europa via Turkije, Georgi\u00eb, Azerbeidzjan en Kazachstan naar China uit te breiden. Als reactie op de verwachte groeiende goederenhoeveelheden wordt de locatie Tbilisi na 2019 nu voor de tweede keer uitgebreid en krijgt het grotere overslag- en kantoorruimtes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eGebr\u00fcder Weiss Georgi\u00eb heeft zich in de afgelopen tien jaar bewezen als een betrouwbare logistieke dienstverlener op de markt. Twee jaar na de eerste kantooropening in de hoofdstad Tbilisi ging het logistieke knooppunt van start. In 2019 werden de overslagruimtes, vrachtwagenparkeerplaatsen en het kantoorgebouw vergroot. Een jaar later volgde een spoorverbinding. Vandaag de dag organiseren meer dan 100 medewerkers daar directe verbindingen tussen Europa en Azi\u00eb, evenals transporten tussen de landen van Centraal-Azi\u00eb voor klanten uit de textiel-, huishoudelijke artikelen-, hightech- en auto-industrie.
