De Vereniging van Duitse Ingenieurs (VDI) kent met de award bedrijven een prijs toe die uitmuntend werk verrichten voor innovatie in de logistiek. TGW mag zich verheugen over de gerenommeerde Innovatieprijs Logistiek voor zijn zelflerende orderpickrobot Rovolution en de bijbehorende Digitale Tweeling.<\/strong><\/h5>\n

(Marchtrenk) De prijs werd uitgereikt door Gregor Blauermel (voorzitter van de jury), prof. Johannes Fottner (plaatsvervangend voorzitter van de jury) en Jean Haeffs (directeur van de VDI-specialistenvereniging Productie en Logistiek). “De Innovatieprijs Logistiek van de VDI voor Rovolution is een geweldige bevestiging van onze ontwikkelings- en innovatiestrategie, waarbij een bijzondere focus ligt op robotica, software en digitalisering,” benadrukt Christoph Wolkerstorfer, Chief Sales Officer van de TGW Logistics Group.<\/p>\n

Rovolution: Intelligent en zelflerend<\/strong><\/h5>\n

De basis voor Rovolution bestaat uit inzichten uit de gebieden kunstmatige intelligentie, cognitieve robotica en beeldherkenning. De orderpickrobot neemt zelfstandig beslissingen over hoe hij met een situatie omgaat. De intelligente technologie leert met elke grijpprocedure, verzamelt ervaring en is in staat om patronen te herkennen. “Met Rovolution denkt TGW automatisering consequent verder en biedt het de juiste oplossing voor de uitdagingen van de markt,” aldus Christoph Wolkerstorfer.<\/p>\n

Digitale Tweeling: optimale prestaties, hogere transparantie<\/strong><\/h5>\n

TGW heeft daarnaast ook een Digitale Tweeling van Rovolution ontwikkeld - een volledig, meegroeiend digitaal beeld dat verbonden is met de fysieke installatie. De Digitale Tweeling maakt gedrag en samenhangen zichtbaar, begrijpelijk en voorspelbaar. Met zijn hulp kunnen gegevens worden geanalyseerd, ervan geleerd worden en in 3D-modellen worden gevisualiseerd.<\/p>\n

Hiermee kan niet alleen de huidige toestand van Rovolution worden gemonitord, maar kan men met een replayfunctie ook in het verleden kijken om oorzaken van onverwachte gebeurtenissen te herkennen. Zelfs een blik in de toekomst wordt mogelijk - bijvoorbeeld in het kader van Predictive Maintenance. “Gebruikers profiteren met de Digitale Tweeling van optimale transparantie, hogere productiviteit en een verlaging van de operationele kosten,” legt Christoph Wolkerstorfer uit.<\/p>\n
