Nadat de bedrijfsvereniging HEINLOTH \u2013 de logistieke experts met de uitbreiding van het intermodaal vervoer al duurzame wegen inslaat, zet de logistiekspecialist uit Roth nu in op een ander innovatief transportsysteem met zogenaamde ECO-Trailers en versterkt daarmee zijn duurzaamheidsstrategie.<\/strong><\/h5>\n

(Roth bij Neurenberg) ECO-Trailers zijn HighCapacity-Vehicles (HCT), dat zijn voertuigcombinaties die 32 meter lang zijn en tot 70 ton totaalgewicht kunnen vervoeren. HCT biedt het voordeel dat ze ondanks hun lengte en grote transportvolume slechts \u00e9\u00e9n trekker nodig hebben. Marcus Studener, directeur Forwarding en verantwoordelijk voor de Scandinavische transporten bij HEINLOTH, legt uit: \u201eDoor een tweede oplegger aan een trekker te koppelen, besparen we aan de ene kant brandstof, aan de andere kant krijgen we op deze manier meer flexibiliteit in tijden van chauffeurstekort. Door de besparing van de arbeidsinzet voorkomen we een schaarste aan middelen.\u201c De CO\u2082-uitstoot wordt door het gebruik van ECO-Trailers met tot 25 procent verminderd. \u201eWe zien veel potentieel in de ECO-Trailers\u201c, zegt Studener. \u201eVooral op het gebied van duurzaamheid en middelenbesparing zijn ze een stap naar de toekomst. De logistieke overdracht verandert voortdurend \u2013 met innovatieve oplossingen willen we deze weg inslaan en ons steentje bijdragen aan deze verandering. De ECO-Trailers zijn daarbij een bouwsteen.\u201c<\/p>\n

Finland als belangrijk afzetgebied<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Momenteel is het Rothse bedrijf op Finse wegen actief. In Duitsland zijn alleen zogenaamde EuroCombi (lange vrachtwagens) op bepaalde trajecten toegestaan, die met maximaal 25,25 meter niet de capaciteiten van de HCT bereiken. Terwijl aanvankelijk de focus van de Scandinavische transporten voornamelijk op Zweden en Noorwegen lag, is het verkeer naar Finland sinds begin 2019 consequent uitgebreid. Finland is daarmee een ander groot en belangrijk afzetgebied voor HEINLOTH geworden. Inmiddels beschikt Heinloth over bijna 400 voertuigen in het Scandinavische verkeer. Een beslissende factor voor de ECO-Trailers is het zogenaamde Dolly-aggregaat, dat als verbindingsunit tussen twee opleggers fungeert en feitelijk een trekker vervangt. De ECO-Trailers helpen zo om het stijgende transportvolume te beheersen en het transport duurzamer te maken.<\/p>\n
