In het kader van het project<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">zijn<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">verreikende<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">natuurbehoudsmaatregelen voorzien.<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Een overeenkomstig <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">concept is op<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">vrijdag ingediend bij het<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Federale Bureau voor Vervoer.<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Dit<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">bevat meer<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">maatregelen<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">ten gunste van de natuur<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">dan voor<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">anderhalf jaar<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">aangekondigd.<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page8R_mcid8\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><\/h5>\n<p><span id=\"page8R_mcid8\" class=\"markedContent\">(Basel) Het terminal <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Gateway Basel Nord<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">zal<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">in de toekomst sterk bijdragen aan de verschuiving van het goederenvervoer van de weg naar het spoor<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">. Zo kunnen<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">in<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Gateway Basel Nord in de toekomst<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">50<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">procent<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">van het <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">containertransport<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">op het spoor worden verplaatst<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">, waar<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">door<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">jaarlijks tot<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">100.000 vrachtwagenritten ingespaard kunnen worden.<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page8R_mcid9\" class=\"markedContent\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"page8R_mcid9\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">In het kader van de uitvoering van het project is het doel van Gateway Basel Nord,<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">de ingreep in de<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">bestaande<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">natuurlijke omgeving waar mogelijk te minimaliseren<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">en<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">voldoende extra gebieden beschikbaar te stellen<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">.<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Daarom<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">heeft Gateway Basel Nord<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">op<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">23.03.2022<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">een uitgebreid en herzien natuurbehoudsconcept ingediend bij het<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Federale Bureau voor Vervoer.<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page8R_mcid10\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<h5><span id=\"page8R_mcid10\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Duurzame projecten voorzien<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page8R_mcid11\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/><\/span><\/h5>\n<p><span id=\"page8R_mcid11\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Aangezien zich op<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">het voor het project voorziene terrein in het noorden van Basel in de loop<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">der tijd een groot aantal waardevolle planten en dieren<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">hebben gevestigd<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">,<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">heeft Gateway Basel Nord<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">in 2020<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">ecologische compensatiegebieden<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">van 45,8 hectare<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">gedefinieerd<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">.<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page8R_mcid12\" class=\"markedContent\"> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Het gaat om een oppervlakte die in totaal vier keer groter is dan het voor<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">het project bebouwde<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">terrein, dat in totaal 11,5 hectare in beslag<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">neemt.<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Op de 45,8 hectare ecologische compensatiegrond zijn diverse <\/span><\/span><span id=\"page9R_mcid0\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">maatregelen<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">gepland<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">, die in het herzien natuurbehoudsconcept zijn vastgelegd<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">.<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page9R_mcid1\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h5><span id=\"page9R_mcid1\" role=\"presentation\">kunnen vervangen\u00bb, zegt<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Martin Haller, voorzitter van de bestuursraad<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">van Ons huidige concept omvat<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">daarom ook<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">nog<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">meer<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">maatregelen<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">voor de natuur<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">dan anderhalf jaar geleden aangekondigd\u00bb, voegt hij eraan toe.<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page9R_mcid3\" class=\"markedContent\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"page9R_mcid3\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Zo is op het terrein bij het havenstation<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">naast de al aangekondigde<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">maatregelen<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">een natuurbrug voorzien,<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">om de wandelcorridor voor de dieren<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">en planten te versterken.<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Over de verkeersgebieden zal een ca. 4000 m<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">2<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">grote,<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">ca.<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">300<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">meter<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">lange brug ontstaan, waarop een<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">soortenrijke<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">droogweide<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">wordt aangelegd<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">.<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page9R_mcid4\" class=\"markedContent\"> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Bij de Hard Pratteln wordt het gebied omgevormd tot een structuur<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">-<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">en soortenrijk<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">bosleefgebied.<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Het doel is om een hogere soortenrijkdom te bevorderen<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">en <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">het bos te verlichten<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">, zonder het recreatief gebruik van het bos te verstoren.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Foto: \u00a9 Gateway Basel Nord<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>De trimodale Gateway Basel Nord maakt Basel tot de belangrijkste goederenvervoerhub van Zwitserland.
