In zijn nieuwe functie kan Robin Otto (44) terugvallen op ongeveer 20 jaar ervaring in de internationale contractlogistiek, waarvan 13 jaar in Franse bedrijven. Dankzij zijn multidisciplinaire loopbaan brengt hij kennis van bedrijfskunde en de vastgoedsector mee, met name op het gebied van de ontwikkeling van locatie-strategie\u00ebn.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Orgon) Robin Otto, die een Master of Business Administration (MBA) aan een particuliere hogeschool in Berlijn heeft behaald, begon zijn loopbaan in 2002 bij Arvato SCM Solutions als Head of Business Development. In 2007 nam hij als Director Business Development de leiding over de zakelijke ontwikkeling van de GEODIS Group in Duitsland. In 2013 werd hij benoemd tot Director Business Development &amp; Solution Design Northern Europe. Vanaf 2018 was hij werkzaam als Deputy COO Contract Logistics \u2013 North, East &amp; Central Europe.<\/p>\n<p>In 2019 trad hij toe tot de ID Logistics Group en was verantwoordelijk voor de zakelijke ontwikkeling in Duitsland in de functie van Commercial Vice President. Sinds zijn toetreding heeft ID Logistics Germany tal van nieuwe klanten gewonnen, met name in de sectoren e-commerce, retail en consumptiegoederen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eRobin Otto heeft in zijn functie als hoofd van de ontwikkeling van onze Duitse dochteronderneming bij ID Logistics veel bereikt. Vandaag staat hij aan het hoofd van ID Logistics Germany en zal hij zijn innovatief vermogen en ondernemerschap inzetten om ID Logistics Germany een nieuwe dimensie te geven. Ik ben ervan overtuigd dat hij ID Logistics naar de top van de contractlogistiekbedrijven in Duitsland zal leiden\u201c, aldus Eric H\u00e9mar, voorzitter van de raad van bestuur van ID Logistics.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eMet onze nieuwe vestiging in Griesheim hebben we een belangrijke mijlpaal gezet voor de vestiging van ID Logistics in Duitsland. We hebben ambitieuze plannen en zullen de ontwikkeling die we de afgelopen drie jaar hebben gerealiseerd, duurzaam verankeren en verder uitbreiden\u201c, zegt Robin Otto, CEO van ID Logistics Germany.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Knowhow en ontwikkeling in het hart van de strategie<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>ID Logistics is sinds de overname van CEPL (400 medewerkers, drie locaties: Germersheim, Weilbach en Mittelstadt) in 2013 actief op de e-commercemarkt en heeft zich op dit gebied voortdurend ontwikkeld. Het bedrijf behoort vandaag de dag tot de top 5 van contractdienstverleners voor e-commerce.<\/p>\n<p>ID Logistics staat in Duitsland bekend om de kwaliteit van zijn diensten en oplossingen voor de detailhandel, consumptiegoederen, e-commerce en ook cosmetica, en heeft vandaag de dag 3.800 medewerkers op tien locaties met een opslagcapaciteit van meer dan 530.000 m\u00b2.<\/p>\n<p>Het bedrijf, dat aanvankelijk actief was in de cosmetica en klanten zoals Coty, Yves Rocher en Nobilis bediende, heeft zich snel op de e-commercemarkt gevestigd. Zo verzorgt ID Logistics al vijf jaar de e-commercelogistiek van een wereldwijde meubelgigant op zijn locatie in Dortmund en beheert het ook een logistiek platform van 156.000 m\u00b2 in Salzgitter. Bovendien bedient het de Duitse e-commerce marktleider op verschillende locaties en biedt deze klant verschillende diensten aan (orderpicking, verpakking, cross docking en distributie, enz.).<\/p>\n<h5>Duitsland biedt groeikansen<\/h5>\n<p>\u201eDuitsland biedt onze wendbare en innovatiegerichte onderneming en onze klanten echte groeikansen. De strategische prioriteiten van de groep liggen in Duitsland zowel in de bestaande omgeving van contractlogistiek in onze belangrijkste markten als in onze capaciteit om bedrijven over te nemen en te integreren.
