Via de Mukran Port worden de containers overgeladen en verder verspreid naar het Europese achterland. De haven verstevigt daarmee zijn functie als centraal knooppunt voor verkeer van en naar China, Groot-Brittanni\u00eb, Zweden en Centraal-Europa.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(PresseBox; Sassnitz\/Neu Mukran) In opdracht van de Bahnoperator GmbH en TransContainer, en in samenwerking met de Ust-Luga Container Terminal (ULCT, een bedrijf van de Global Ports Group) en het bedrijf Ruscon, is er nu een nieuwe multimodale containerdienst op de route China - Duitsland gestart. Vanaf maart zullen er regelmatig containertrainen met Chinese goederen vanuit Wuhan via de Mantsjoerije en Sabaikalsk naar Ust-Luga rijden. De transittijd door het Russische grondgebied bedraagt negen dagen. In Ust-Luga worden de containers van de trein op de schepen van de Baltische Zeebrug overgeladen en naar de haven van Mukran gebracht. De totale transittijd bedraagt 19 dagen.<\/p>\n<p>Een bijzonder kenmerk van de nieuwe route is het gebruik van een uniforme vrachtbrief. Dit document wordt voor de gehele route van de lading uitgegeven en versnelt de containerafhandeling aan slechts twee grenzen en twee havens. De Baltische Zeebrug maakt sinds 2019 gebruik van deze voor klanten handige procedure voor haar verkeer via Mukran Port.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Langdurige verbindingen van Sassnitz-Mukran naar Rusland<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Gezien de snel stijgende volumes en een mogelijke verdere verkorting van de looptijden biedt zich de kans aan om de langdurige logistieke verbinding tussen Rusland en Sassnitz-Mukran te benutten om een snelle en naadloze Oost-West-verbinding te waarborgen: per spoor vanuit China naar de Russische Oostzeehavens en van daar per schip over de Oostzee naar de Mukran Port. Van hieruit kunnen de goederen vervolgens weer per spoor naar het Duitse en Europese achterland en naar Groot-Brittanni\u00eb en Scandinavi\u00eb worden verspreid.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eDe nieuwe containerdienst vult het verkeersnetwerk van de Baltische Zeebrug perfect aan, dat al talrijke industriecentra in Duitsland en in de Oostzee-regio omvat. Hiermee verbinden we nu verdere markten in de Oostzee-regio met China. Nogmaals kan de Mukran Port zijn capaciteit als moderne multifunctionele haven en Europees knooppunt voor China-verkeer onder bewijs stellen\u201c, legt Harm Sievers, directeur van Mukran Port Terminals GmbH, uit.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Over Baltische Zeebrug<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Baltische Zeebrug GmbH is een joint venture van de Bahnoperator GmbH, de Mukran Port Terminals GmbH en Co. KG, evenals de EGP Eisenbahngesellschaft Potsdam en de rederij BREB. Het doel is de ontwikkeling van de Zijderoute-corridor via de haven- en industriezone Mukran, evenals de opname van shortsea-containerladingen.
