De uitbreiding van de capaciteiten vindt plaats vanwege de sterk groeiende zendingen in de e-commerce van grote goederen.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Bonn\/D\u00fcsseldorf) In het kader van een nieuwe samenwerking neemt het logistieke bedrijf METRO LOGISTICS per direct de verwerking van grote en zware goederen voor het DHL 2-Mann-Handling over op de opslaglocatie van METRO LOGISTICS in Reichenbach in Th\u00fcringen. Hiermee wordt de extra locatie een aanvulling op het centrale DHL 2-Mann-Handling-magazijn in Ludwigsau en zorgt voor aanzienlijk meer overslagcapaciteit in het DHL 2-Mann-Handling-netwerk.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Sinds de coronapandemie bestellen nog veel meer mensen hun meubels, wasmachines of grote tv-toestellen online. Naast ons centrale magazijn zullen we nu ook meer inzetten op verschillende, decentrale hubs om ons netwerk in Duitsland consequent uit te breiden en verder te profiteren van de markgroei. Hierdoor zorgen we ervoor dat we vooral in de komende kerstperiode de stijgende zendingen van onze klanten zoals gebruikelijk betrouwbaar kunnen verwerken,&#8221; zegt Katharina Pellmann, directeur Commercial &amp; IT van DHL 2-Mann-Handling GmbH.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Herori\u00ebntatie wordt goed ontvangen<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Thorsten Sega, Chief Operating Officer van METRO LOGISTICS, legt uit: &#8220;Onze herori\u00ebntatie van een concernlogistiek bedrijf naar een dienstverlener die opereert op de vrije logistieke markt wordt zeer goed ontvangen: We zijn blij dat ons cross-docking-concept overtuigt en dat we DHL 2-Mann-Handling GmbH als nieuwe klant hebben gewonnen. Het was voor ons belangrijk om, vooral in een tijd van sterke groei van de online en verzendhandel, onze klant een effici\u00ebnte logistieke oplossing aan te bieden. Onze locatie in Reichenbach past perfect in het bestaande verzendnetwerk van DHL 2-Mann-Handling GmbH en biedt ook in de toekomst verdere groeimogelijkheden.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In een 2-ploegendienst wordt de goederen op de locatie Reichenbach op een oppervlakte van ongeveer 5.500 vierkante meter door medewerkers van METRO LOGISTICS gesorteerd. &#8220;Dit maakt een stijging van onze dagelijkse overslagcapaciteiten in de dubbele cijfers mogelijk,&#8221; zegt Beate Seeher, directeur Operaties, Support en Financi\u00ebn van DHL 2-Mann-Handling GmbH.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Verder locaties integreren<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>DHL 2-Mann-Handling is gespecialiseerd in het transport en de levering van grote en zware goederen en heeft in Duitsland in totaal ongeveer 400 medewerkers. Vanuit het centrale hub in Ludwigsau en vanaf nu ook vanuit de extra METRO LOGISTICS-locatie in Reichenbach worden dagelijks meer dan 30 regionale DHL-partners in heel Duitsland met zendingen bevoorraad. De levering vindt plaats na telefonische afspraak op een door de eindklant gewenste afleverlocatie, indien nodig ook met montage.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We willen naast het hub in Reichenbach ook in de toekomst verdere locaties in ons netwerk integreren.
